I am using the standard plate, I see they make a double and a triple suction cup models. I guess this setup (using the ZV1 remote) would work on the hood of your car if you used the triple. haha, hadn't thought of that.

Hello Mike. I just got a Sony ZV1 camera. For your car mount on the windshield, is it easy to remove and reuse it on a different car if need to?
Yes, just remove suction cup. See Fat Gecko link.
