    Cool vid 🤙. Thinking about getting this motor. Which version do you have? High speed motor or high torque motor?

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the high torque version from Option No 1

  • @jhqtech
    @jhqtech 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The option no 1 is a great intro brushless motor, I still have several of my original ones. I recommend you look into the warhead motors as they are the evolution from this and even nicer.
    Just make sure to run no active braking if you put an aftermarket mosfet in

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I had one but something went wrong with it and it didn't perform like it should have but I thought about revisiting one. Everyone says they're better

      @@HappysAirsoft the issue is the warheads short detection cuts the motor in case of a lock up and when you try to fire the gun again the motor can fry. The new Base motors from warhead have much more solid tabs and are more worth their price

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jhqtech now that you say that, I think that is what happened. I probably fried it. The motor went from being like a top tier 30k motor (that's the one I got) where I was getting 25RPS on my 18:1 set up in my galil, to only getting 18-20RPS and a more sluggish response. And then I also broke one of the tabs when installing it into my Galil since that has like an extra goofy motor cage so I caught it as I was closing it up and snapped one off.

    • @jhqtech
      @jhqtech 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HappysAirsoft warhead should offer a 1 year warranty to replace the ecs. Its just popping it out of the top of the motor and replacing it. Also the pinion is kind of small so you def need to reshim when installing the motor

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jhqtech they replaced the tab for me but not the ecs for some reason. Oh well. I sold it for half the price lol. And yeah it seemed a bit small however my bevel to pinion meshing in the Galil had happened to be perfect so it was really smooth

    the stock Trident pdw does i think around 20 rps.. does that brushless motor really increase the fire rate by 10.
    also can you post a link to the motor?

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a little higher, around 23rps or so but yeah these motors fly!

    yo i have a krytac pdw too i just dont know if its worth putting a p* engine in it. Nice vid tho man

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure if that'd be worth it either. I guess it depends on what sorta performance you want from it. I personally would rather sink an extra $100-200 into other parts (hop up bucking, maybe inner barrel, Motor, and piston) and just fine tune it and call it a day but that's me though

    I wonder if the 11.1v 3000mah Titan nunchuck batteries will fit inside this stock? And would u rather choose the Krytac Trident CRB or keep the PDW?

    • @HappysAirsoft
      @HappysAirsoft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It might be too long sadly but I haven't tried. I didn't like the factory spec stock anyways, so I replaced it with one from a King Arms PDW SBR and it extended the overall length of it to fit me better. It also gave me more battery space. As far as which one I'd prefer... I think I like the CRB a little more but I don't have a real good use for another mid length M4 AEG right now, so the Krytac allows me to have a good CQB length M4
