I believe you have not only found a way to stop the gears from slipping also discovered a way to transport your RC through a Portal to another dimension. Good Job being consistent with your content creation, Quinn!
I’m pretty new to this, so might be blowing smoke, but I think you can try placing a shim behind the pinion gear in the diff to bring it closer to the ring gear. If it’s in the portals I don’t know.
I was wondering the same thing. Gonna go shim crazy and see what it gives me. Just don’t want things to bind so I’ll do one at a time and check as I go.
I did not understand why that small gearing is not turning, it looked as if it was slipping on its axle. But i dont know that stuff, just got a CR18P, have not taken it apart yet.
I'm always supporting your channel, please do your best from now on as well🤩🤝👍
Thank you I appreciate it!

Just starting to get a feel for the multiverse. Thanks @kaakeman!
Good and on point video mate. If I ever had to shim an portal, I'll think about this very moment 😊
Thanks!
Before my gears slip the propellershaft will broke ha ha . Maybe the bushings wear out too? Super nice service tipp!
Yep those driveshafts are a weak point. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Very helpful, thanks.
Awesome you’re welcome!
👍🏻👍🏻 have the same issue with the EVO PRO
Hope this helps!
Hey, thanks for the video!
Do you know also how to decrease backlash on these? My FX 118 has no problem with slipping, but backlash is too much.

The little gear sits on a tiny pin that goes through the axle. If the portal cover doesn’t push down enough on the gear, it can slip off the pin.
My FX118 did that. Should you put a small dab of grease where the bushing, shim and gear surfaces meet?
Good idea!
The fmsfcx18 has only sealed ball bearing..
F'ing awesome video bro this will help people for sure
Thanks. I hope so!
How many people do not realize the gears are slipping.
Honestly I didn’t suspect the portals at first.
@@QuinnsRCBetter to fix the portals because easy to work on so a luck find. Funny how some cars need shimming more then others.
