I think he will have to pack on more muscle. To do what Luka & Ant do in the paint. There's exceptions like AI & and Murant, but I think 5-10lbs not just upper but lower too will serve him justice.

Idoka prefers Sengun and getting most of the plays for him. and Jalen had to figure out his place playing with Fred Van Vleet and continue to work on his effeciancy and it took half a season for the 22 year old guard but he finally figuring things out and now looks like he has elevated his play. nope. their pace and fast breaks are the same with sengun the 5 games before he got hurt and when they started winning. you can argue though that Jabari playing center has taken his defender away from the basket creating more space. again though the pace and fast breaks are the same as when Sengun had been playing.

The whole team is playing better. The main reason is floor spacing, & tempo. Sengun ball turn everyone into statues and spot up shooters. Basically an out dated brand of basketball. The Rockets are better without Sengun & what we're watching is a visual protest.

That's more because the other players don't know how to play Sengun ball.
They *are* better without him in 23-24 but that's more about defense and opponent shooting luck. The offense is slightly better with him even it does feel a bit forced.
That said, go watch Sacramento, Denver, Philly, Golden State, OKC a little. That's how that style of offense is supposed to look. Calling it out-dated -- it's the opposite. It's the cutting edge of basketball offense. Houston just runs it poorly.
The roster is more suited to an up-and-down style.
Long term playing through Sengun is the move though. Turn Jalen into Jamal Murray and use your big forwards to protect Alpy on defense and rim the offense through him. But that doesn't happen overnight. The Murray-Jokic two man game took years to develop.
How does beating a bunch of bum teams mean they're better without him clown. With him they beat the nuggets 3x beat okc beat the bucks kings 3x lakers 2x stop it 😂😂😂
