this is the first episode of "WILL IT...?" a series where I choose 1 groovebox and 1 genre of music, and figure out if they are a good match! so if you want to know whether a particular machine is good for producing your favourite genre, this is the place to do so - make sure you subscribe!

yeah and honestly, it doesn't make a lot of sense, unless you really want to make a long "solo", the buttons are small, but sometimes u just gotta flex, knowwhatimsayin? 😎

I believe that the point of getting a po33 is the size, fun, and the (terrible but cool) sound quality... it is definitely a cool addition to a studio, albeit not an all-in-one groovebox!

Mr Pavel Powers, instagram.com/pavelxpowers/?hl=en I'm pretty sure is a Ukrainian living in Russia. Or at the very least he's a supporter of peace in Ukraine but he was definitely based in Russia as of a few months ago: when he sold me that case the stamp read St. Petersburg. he's got some of the dopest cases for any groovebox. if you find a way to support him, please do, any way you slice it, the guy probably finds himself in a tough spot.
I think the project is a bit too complex for the PO-33 to handle, because of the polyphony issue. That's what's holding it back the most, imo. I think you'd find better results using that Volca Sample I see in the back, and I'd love to see you have a go at the same project on the Volca!
