The verse theme is a rip-off of David Gilmour's instrumental piece played on classical guitar, that comes right after the "is there anybody out there?" segment on "The Wall." All he did is change it from an A minor to an E minor, slowed it down, and then added a bridge/chorus.
They did something similar with "I Love It Loud", that comes from a segment of The Who's 'My Generation", again radically slowed down.
