This song is proof of just how talented these guys are. I grew up on their music and as a life long fan I must say this is a brilliant display of talent both lyrically and musically.
As great as some moments of life can be, looking back can be so sad. I guess the trick is to keep making happy moments to look back on. And though it's sad to look back, everyday is another chance to make more. I guess. I'm not ever sure if that makes any sense. Okay, I think I got it. The goal is to make the happiness of the moment outweigh the sadness of looking back. And just fill life with as many of those moments as possible. Is that it? Hell, who know?!?!

This is my favorite era of Kiss' music. The makeup is iconic, but I always felt like it was a character. Without the makeup, the music always felt deeper and came with a sense of music artistry.

This was one of my boyfriends favorites and he would play it for me all the time. When he passed away, I asked they play it at his service. I still love this song so much. He has been gone for 3 years and it brings a smile to my face and reminds me how much he loved me. 💜

The late Eric Carr. RIP. You probably couldn't tell right away, but the poor man was very sick and dying and he still insisted on being in the video and putting ahead the band and the fans over his own health. Even in his final days , Eric was brave, always had a smile and a joke and remained positive. He and Bruce both went beyond the call of duty to give kiss the much needed stability and drive to get through the 80s. He and bruce deserved a RnRHOF induction

I met my best friend from this song. We where sitting in class I was listening to music and she saw on my laptop I was listening to Forever ( this exact video) and she was also a huge KISS fan like me. This video always makes me emotional. The song is just pure bliss with one of the all-time greatest choruses. Bruce delivers a classy solo. Gene is in such a nice mood throughout. The interaction between him and Paul just makes me smile every time. Eric's powerhouse fills. Paul kicking his foot on the floor. The light coming through the windows. The camera circling the room and capturing just the right moments. Moving and uplifting at the same time. Absolute perfection this one!

Best video with just bare bulbs and simple acoustic solo and so watchable, pity they never made a music video telling the story with Paul and a lady; might have been epic!! Incredible tune and shows how KISS can have so much range and emotional song writing. All the songs from this time were really very good and fun and even after the make up. they were on a another high.

Beautiful song. My favorite song by kiss. I have been looking for it. Showcases paul Stanley falsetto. Chilling. This song i have heard it before never thought kiss sang this. And im 62 . Wasn't a big fan of kiss when i was in my teens.. im a big fan of Paul Stanley. Love him. Not a die hard fan. I like Paul Stanley 's interviews. Charismatic and charming. Real . I can t stand fakeness. The fact he is deaf on one side makes me appreciate him more. kiss does support wounded warrior projects and some other charity supporting deaf children. I believe its called kids mend. Doesn't spend money on drugs and alcohol. Proceeds of kiss concerts go to charities. It is nice to hear. I look at Paul Stanley differently. Shame on me .

Eu ouvi essa música durante toda a minha adolescência,quando eu comecei a aprender a tocar violão eu me aventurei e tentei tocar essa música,eu sempre gostei muito do solo que tem nessa música,quando eu comecei a aprender a tocar violão eu me imaginava tocando o solo dessa música,o tempo passou,eu aprendi o básico do violão,eu comprei a minha guitarra,eu me aventurei em tentar aprender a tocar os solos das músicas que eu gostava de ouvir,eu posso dizer que eu consegui aprender a tocar solos e riffs de algumas músicas,eu comecei a me aventurar em compor minhas próprias músicas,foi um detalhe bem interessante,atualmente eu tenho 35 anos de idade,eu estou vivendo os meus dias de recuperação,eu precisei passar por uma cirurgia para tirar tumores mauditos que estavam na área do meu sistema nervoso central no meu cérebro,depois de passar pela cirurgia eu fiquei 21 dias em coma,quando eu acordei,eu descobri que toda essa situação impediu que eu e a minha esposa continuássemos com os nossos planos para realizar o nosso sonho de ter o nosso filho ou a nossa filha,isso dói inesplicávelmente,os meus dias tem sido uma guerra inesplicável,mas eu posso dizer que a música está sendo o meu melhor remédio...

This video always makes me emotional. The song is just pure bliss with one of the all-time greatest choruses. Bruce delivers a classy solo. Gene is in such a nice mood throughout. The interaction between him and Paul just makes me smile every time. Eric's powerhouse fills. Paul kicking his foot on the floor. The light coming through the windows. The camera circling the room and capturing just the right moments. Moving and uplifting at the same time. Absolute perfection this one!

Best video with just bare bulbs and simple acoustic solo and so watchable, pity they never made a music video telling the story with Paul and a lady; might have been epic!! Incredible tune and shows how KISS can have so much range and emotional song writing. All the songs from this time were really very good and fun and even after the make up. they were on a another high.
