Whitby was always my favourite for lads weekend piss ups when i was younger. tbh we only get 2 weeks of sunbathing weather, if you're unlucky enough to visit during that 2 week period you'll struggle to find space to put a towel down. Outside of those 2 weeks you'll likely get more than enough space and peace to keep you happy (might also get piss wet through lol)
Rye started life as a small fishing community, almost surrounded by water. The sea has since retreated and now lies two miles from the town, at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. Today, the history of Rye can be explored at the Rye Heritage Centre.
I live in the beautiful seaside town of Saltburn by the Sea, North Yorkshire. To me this is one of the best places with miles & miles of sandy beach, woodland & Moors nearby. The scenery is magical, wouldn't live anywhere else.
My favourite seaside town is Littlehampton, West Sussex, not a very big town, but is everything a seaside town should be. A very short drive up to Arundel from there too, a great day trip.
Surprised Brighton was not on the list. When I was a kid / teenager the town of Margate was a treat because it had Bembom Brothers (amusement park) they also used to have a nice doughnut shop close to the train station, where you get get a few I think it was 6 for £1 which were slightly heated and were yummy, this was a long time ago in the 80's / 90's. Also helped that your rail ticket got you into Bembom Brothers.
Rye is really nice, it’s only about an hour away. They do a speed boat ride there which is pretty cool, it takes you down estuary & into the sea & there’s a pub right there as well, so a nice little adrenaline rush and then straight in the pub
I happen to live in a quite pretty, small seaside town (in the north of Scotland), not one of those mentioned in this list, which is just fine by me, as whilst I want success for our local economy and the people who live/work here, I don’t particularly relish the idea of it becoming too much of “the place to be”, as that would probably inevitably result in increased congestion & pressure on local facilities and services, inevitably affecting the quality of life of these who live in or visit here 🤞😀. And I’m not revealing precisely where I am. Those who know, know 😀. But there are numerous other places all around the UK, both coastal and inland (and there’s no place in the country more than 70/80 miles from the sea anyway) that are attractive places, so there’s no need to restrict yourself to the headline 10 places in this list.
Personality seahouses is tue best place to have a holiday in Britain, its a few miles away from bamburgh castle and there and lots of long straight beaches and large sand dunes!
I @@AutismIsUnstoppable I don't think these Mojo videos about uk are actually made here. They use an English voice bot for the narration. They make a fair few errors and often spout cobblers. Often they don't know anything about the subject, they're claiming too know something about. The camera shots they often use are downright hopeless as well..
No inhabited place in the United Kingdom is more than 70 miles from the coast. We are a relatively small island with 19431 miles of coastline (including all the islands), we have a lot of coast and it's easy to get to!
Hi. Perhaps your finger hit the wrong key. Our coastline is stretched reaches Australia. It's not that high... Alan Titchmarsh series explains our coast and islands and islets its 6259 off the top of my mind. That is British Isles btw. I will double check as that Includes independent rocks to note. The exact coastline, is for just UK.. Around 12,429 km or 7,723 miles
We used to go to Aberaeron every year, for a camping holiday, It’s a beautiful place to go, we loved it, it’s only about a two hour drive from our home, so it was easy for us to get there and set up and be enjoying our holiday in no time at all. 👍x
For me it’s St Andrews but it’s only 20mins alone the coast but Scotland has way more towns that are more spectacular and fascinating like Oban for example with great shops restaurants over looking the sea with 10s of islands surrounding it, tbf Oban is set in one of the most beautiful places on the planet but still isn’t the best of what Scotland has to offer
Also...... the BOT that reads the voice-over on the original video appears to be using an otherwise unknown version of the English language! Weird sentence structure and pronunciation, possibly a mini stroke???

Filey...really?...Trust me, it is NOT quiet there as Filey plays host to 2 Haven Caravan sites, including the largest one in the UK, Reighton Sands. Then again I'm from Scarborough, so automatically, we're better.
I can't stand this man you are reacting too. He shows the weirdest images of towns he's show-casing and sounds like he's reading straight from descriptions online. Sorry I can't listen to any more. Love you and your reactions though!
I'm certain Neal responded to it just recently... Perhaps give him other suggestions. I'm not fond on the channel the American girl in the UK puts out. So many errors its terrible. But I'll look for those based on facts. I screwed my face up when she began her summing the UK as homogeneous. But perhaps Neal grasps after the main accents, we've local words, inter City banter with rivalry. Comedy in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Northern England tends to be quite dark and crude. Except more the east side of London would be similar. Enjoy your week
@@JJNTA Yes, you're right and I often do make suggestions of other sites to look at for 'American Reacts' videos. However, I do come across a lot of the American reactors featuring this particular Y-tuber - really don't know why. Thanks for your response.
You say clams,we say oysters. And trust me,they are disgusting. You don’t chew, you swallow. It’s like a big thick ball of snot slithering down your throat.
It used to be said of Blackpool, that you don't swim, you go through the motions. Thames water (like all of the other water companies) are just trying to recreate the feel of an inter-war visit to some seaside towns.

I was hoping to see Blackpool on here where I now live. Crazy place
No Cornwall or Tenby, this list is bad
I agree that Cornwall is a great place for beaches. I've not been to Tenby, but I know loads of people who have, and they all rave about it.
I love Tenby ❤
Not going with his choices... Cornwall,Devon, Scily isles
Erm,seaside towns and Cornwall isn’t even mentioned.
Ridiculous.
Ess quignogs.
Rye is well back from the sea now, although not rivers. Still an amazing place to visit, but OMG full of tourists. They left off Brighton

Tynemouth, but I'm Geordie so there's bias
The south side is much nicer, lol

Crowded beaches are not a favourite of mine either, and I'm sure lots of others too. I'm sure you'd fit in the UK very well 😊

You need to set up crowdfunding up. So you can come over and see our beautiful country...not just London

Southwold is 'almost an island, and has a dramatic coastline.' That will certainly come as a surprise to the people of Southwold.
Sounds like it was written by AI. Also they didn't mention the county Southwold is in indicating they didn't even proofread it properly.

My mum and stepdad live in Aberaeron, it really is a beautiful place! 🥰 Tenby should be on this list too!
Those clams were oysters and yes my dad had then all the time when at the coast, not me I ate cockles.
a stay at Portmerion Wales or Bamborugh northumberland, or South Shields

my favorite seasides are south and west wales. they have the best beaches
What about Walton on the Naze?
London is technically a seaside town. It has tides, salt water, and beaches.
It's worth considering the climate.
I like Barmouth in Wales.
Watch best Cornwall beaches you would think they are in England
Cornwall ??????

10 best? Around the UK there has to be a thousand, minimum.
They were Oysters

You say clams,we say oysters.

I have also likened oysters to cold phlegm! 😂
Don't get your hopes up... British seaside coastline "Was Beautiful up until 5years ago"
Overrun by migrants and drugs nowadays
All well and good, but who can swim in the filthy water around most seasides nowadays?

Thames water (like all of the other water companies) are just trying to recreate the feel of an inter-war visit to some seaside towns.

Scarborough 😂
