THORPE PARK'S Covid 19 Safety Measures For Reopening

- Thorpe Park invited me inside the theme park to show me all of the brand new safety measures being put into place to ensure the park is COVID 19 secure. Including ride procedures on all of the parks rollercoasters (Stealth, Nemesis, Swarm, Saw, Colossus) as well as temperature checks and socially distanced queue lines and paths around the resort. I even ask the questions which everyone has been asking such as- can you ride rides with friends, how long will the queues be and what will be happening to Fright Nights during the Halloween period? Thorpe Park is due to re open on the 4th July.

Your camera sensor is covered in dust dude it's very distracting. I recommend sending your camera off to a shop and getting it professionally cleaned
how much have they reduced the park's capacity ?
I think its about a quarter or original capacity but I might be wrong
I was wondering the same thing actually. Could tell us a bit about what queue times will be like if we knew. I reckon it'll be by quite a significant amount though - there's no way they'd get away with anything near the guest attendance they usually have during the summer.

I go to thorpe every year for my bday, 11 yeer streak and i was worried covid was gonna break it. But my mum was a LEGEND and stayed up all night to book us in for my bday, claps for her man!
I am loving the thought that's been put in place to make sure that they are COVID safe for re-opening.

Hmm that’s strange, they show up for me on the app.
They are not operating
I think they will shut because otherwise face masks could get wet or damaged
They will be shut as most people use cheap face masks that get damaged easily by water.
I’ve read that you won’t be required to wear the face mask on some of the water rides, they will probably only be operating a couple of them

I expect by "Scan annual passes" you meant the pre-booked tickets, otherwise there is no way they can control the capacity, right...?
Sam Raymond well you will show your ticket and then scan your pass i believe
Your annual pass/season pass is linked to the ticket you pre-booked, so all you have to do is scan your pass like you normally would do at the turnstiles and you can enter. The actual pre-book ticket itself you won't need to scan (although you'll need to have it on you just in case).

Disabled passes/ride access passes can be pre-booked for collection at the Island Access Hub according to their website. ;)

Yes as stated you *must* prebook in order to enter the Park, even if you have an annual pass. Booking is £1 per person

They mentioned about fast tracks aren't in use but are the disability ride access passes still going to be able too use to get a "fast track" for the que line?

They will still be open they will just block out certain sinks and urinals
Was there on 16/07/20 nobody really cared for social distancing when waiting 60 min for a ride especially saw it was really cramped
Also ,, if u have an “exemption card” that says things like I have breathing issues and am exempt from wearing a mask, are u still required to wear one
If you have breathing issues why on earth would you risk going to a theme park?
I dont think you have to if you have something like copd, autism, or if you are under 6
