i'm so happy that someone finally recognises Samurai as one of the best rides at Thorpe Park. Of course it can't beat some roller coasters like Stealth or The Swarm, but it is definitely the most fun non-rollercoaster ride
I went on hyperia and I didn’t realise that there wasn’t a shoulder restraint and that it was just a lap bar and I was right at the front and when we got to the top I basically screamed “I want a shoulder restraint!!” 😂😂😂
I was at Thorpe park yesterday and we did saw 3 time in a row as there was no Queue. I love it as even though you have done it a few time you still forget what happening next and it is quite fast paced. 8:00
Just went on Hyperia on Wednesday. Our 1st ever ride at TP. Back row, right hand seat. TBH it was running a bit rough to my surprise. 1st drop was good but honestly came off somewhat underwhelmed. Guess it didn't really feel forceful enough for me. Maybe all that airtime just made it feel pretty gentle in terms of lacking g's and rapid direction changes.
Hi Dan, a great Video and thanks for sharing your thoughts, it's greatly appreciated. Cheers Peter 🙂 p.s. Saw is my least favourite Rollercoaster out of the big 6 at Thorpe Park.
Yeah I miss X so much, it was my favourite rollercoaster and actually one of the first ones I ever went on. Going back next week and looking forward to hopefully trying hyperia
i'm going here for a school trip on 6th september and last time i went to thorpe park i barely went on anything because i was too scared but this time i'm going on all of them
Agree with all of this but would put Samurai before any major roller coasters, put detonator a bit lower, bump up zodiac, switch colossus and nemesis inferno
Colossus gave me the mother of all headaches last time I went on it! Luckily we went on near the end of the day as I couldnt go on anymore rides after that! 😅
Visited Thorpe park for the first time last year, I must have missed the best of 'Sore' the ride because it is a fast path to concussion, even worse than Rip Ride Rocket in Universal Florida, and that's saying something! If they could get it smooth again then great, but I would personally rather ride Flying Fish than Saw. Theming is great though. 1. Swarm, 2. Samurai, 3. Stealth. Yet to try Hyperia.
Finally got my Hyperia cred today, omg that first drop is insane. Airtime out the wazoo and laterals too then the outer bank into the roll and then the stall.... such a good ride. knocked nemmy off top spot for me! Everything is awesome, trains, restraints, forces i loved it. Did rows 3 and 7. I wish thorpe park wasnt 200 miles away but i guess we have towers up north but nothing at towers is as good as Hyperia. Someone is going to have to go all out to top that. An RMC maybe hint hint anyone... ANYONE?! 😢
Only coasters I've ridden: 6. The Walking (Through an obnoxiously long and dark corridor) Dead: That corridor goes on forever and I hate it. They keep saying there's live actors and there never is. The themeing feels tacky at best which means those corridors are the scariest part of it because I hate dark noisy corridors. It's basically a kids coaster with adult themeing. Make it a rave coaster again or do literally anything else with it. The ride itself is fine. Although I forgot it existed almost the entire time I was at Thorpe Park last time I went due to how uninterested I was in going on it. 5. The flying fish: Ooof that air time. Absolutely crazy I tell you. Amazing themeing. Ignore what I'll say about The Swarm. IT'S FISH! AND THEY FLY! What's not the love? Could use less small children which is clearly the only reason it's this low. 4. Nemesis Inferno: It's like Nemesis Reborn, but in a volcano. I think the comparison is warranted but I also think they're of similar quality outside of themeing. 3. The Swarm: Easily the best themed rollercoaster in the UK. I still consider it the most intense ride in the park just for the fact that it's the only ride I've ever greyed out from. People really undersell how consistently fast it can feel. I'm really happy the radio stuff is gone from Amity, but wish it stayed for The Swarm. 2. Stealth: It's a 123 punch and a good one at that. I've not experienced forces like it on anything. The only thing letting it down is the short layout and lack of inversions. 1. Colossus: Yup I'm one of those inversion enthusiasts that people think are crazy I'm pretty sure. Sure my ears get knocked a little, but I'm surprisingly head bang resistant despite seeming small and frail. Tight squeeze getting in even for me. But ten inversions... oof amazing. Those heartlines are great too and it's amazing to watch off ride. I can't wait to try Sik some day which is a top UK coaster candidate for me if a smoother ride with lap bars makes a big enough difference.
Bro I was at thorpe park yesterday and tidal wave got stuck halfway throughout the beginning but where it went up and the people on it had to walk back down
ghost train at 14 and samurai at 6 are criminal imo 😭😭😭😭 i loved ghost train sm, i thought it was a unique concept, esp with the blacklight segment. i wasnt scared at all but like. i still thought the themeing was rlly good. not too long, not too short samurai, however. literal shaken baby syndrome. i came off it feeling nauseous and got shoved onto nemferno right after, immediately giving it a bad impression. the only reason i didnt throw up all over my friends was bc i spent the entirety of nemferno with my eyes squeezed shut. samurai goes on for about 2 minutes too long
1: Nemesis Inferno 2: Tidal wave 3: Saw 4:Colossus 5: Quantum I know this is different but I haven’t been on stealth or HYPERIA and I find the Swarm to be very overrated!
I think once me my sister, and one of her ex boyfriends went here, and the first ride we went on was Stealth I think, and we couldn’t find my sister for about 10 minutes after it, she was so scared when she came off it
You know what I'd change about Hyperia? I'd make it so it would be open for more than a week.
🤣🤣🤣
got lucky enough to ride it,favourite roller coaster in the uk for me
I got to ride it early
Lol
Vortex was shocking felt so rough after that one yesterday
I swear if flying fish isn't number one.
Real 💀
It’ll be second after mr monkeys banana ride
Number one family coaster I say. For every ride at Thorpe is a celebrity.
Na!Valeria better
Bro what about mr monkeys
I’m headed to the park soon and this list is super helpful. Thanks for making this!
Have an awesome time!!
Perfect timing Daniel, visiting thorpe park for the first time in a few weeks
Have an amazing visit!!
i'm so happy that someone finally recognises Samurai as one of the best rides at Thorpe Park. Of course it can't beat some roller coasters like Stealth or The Swarm, but it is definitely the most fun non-rollercoaster ride
I agree samurai is so good bc it doesn’t give you that stomach feeling but at the same time it’s so fun and throws you around
@@enaya921 gives me the stomach feeling 😅 😂

Why is this man so Hilarious 😂😂😂
Excellent video. Subbed
One thing that I would probably change about Hyperia is to make it stay open for over a week
I cried on the samurai one I feel so embarrassed now
Great vid!!! I totally agree with Hyperia being number 1 it’s an amazing ride and the first drop is spectacular so I agree with you Dan

Hi Dan, a great Video and thanks for sharing your thoughts, it's greatly appreciated. Cheers Peter 🙂 p.s. Saw is my least favourite Rollercoaster out of the big 6 at Thorpe Park.
I'm completely different, I think that Saw is the best ride XD🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
