Dear Megan, just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers on this last sad day of your circus career. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us and I wish only the best for you and your fellow circus brothers and sisters. God Bless!
Do you know Where is the train is at in Cincinnati? I think I am making the 5 hour drive to see the train. This will be my first time witnessing the circus train!
Do you have permission from the circus/the yard personnel to access the train yard? Overall I'm uncomfortable giving out the train's location publicly...not everyone who comes out here has good intentions.
Do you know anything about your trip from Cincinnati to Norfolk Virginia? I want to try to chase that excursion. This is the closest you guys are to where I live. Do you know What railroad is it and what line you guys are on?
+Megan O Did you get your Transpo order yet? I am coming to the last performance in Cincinnati. (March 19th at 5 PM) Then I am chasing the train wherever it goes!
Bessemer & Lake Erie 902 maybe you need to ask someone else if you can't wait for me to get the transpo order? A quick google search led me to this map: trn.trains.com/~/media/files/pdf/map-of-the-month/trnm0417circustrain.pdf I am on the Red train, so I'm sure the Red lines on the map show our travel route. We are going from Cincinnati to Norfolk. As a train fan, I'm sure you're a member of some forums that discuss these issues. I'll bet if you ask some of those folks right this minute they'll tell you everything you need to know (or at least they'll make a guess that'll be just as good as mine as no one has gotten the schedule yet). Railfan sites also often get ahold of radio frequencies used by the circus train, you could ask for those and see what you get. My guess is that we will leave early on Monday morning between 4-6am, and won't arrive in Norfolk until Weds early morning or afternoon, following the route shown on the map. That's just a guess.
+Megan O Ok and thanks for the info! I really appreciate it! When you do get your transpo order, can you tell me the departure time? I think other than that I am good with info! Thanks and without your help, this wouldn't be possible!
Have you applied to Cirque du Soleil , or do they employ 'bone players? I'm a drummer myself and thought of applying there. Great stuff you have here anyway, all the best! :)
Hello, thank you :) Cirque du Soleil does sometimes employ trombones. My life honestly got a little bonkers after Ringling folded, and while that's not a great excuse it still means I haven't auditioned for them as yet. I haven't even found a place to practice in my new city yet haha ^^; Such is life. Thanks again!
Super ! Got chops !

I'll play Barnum and Bailey songs on my clarinet. I named it Clara.
Megan, I just pray that you were able to find 'bone work, after the circus demise.
Sadly I was not but thank you.
That is awesome trombone playing! I play trombone for my school band and it is an awesome instrument. Is that you playing?
Yep that's me! This is for auditions and such. At some point after May I'll hopefully be posting better (less trombone-y) samples of our music :)
+Megan O That is cool! Can't wait

+Megan O No, I don't have permission but I just was curious if it could be sighted at a distance?

Bessemer & Lake Erie 902 I'll find out next Saturday. Sorry it won't be earlier, that's when we get the transpo order.
+Megan O Ok. Thanks and please keep me updated if you can!
