Hey Tom, what do you recommend a stroke victim who lost his memory and is stuck in tropical Thailand not knowing where he came from nor have documents to prove his identity? How do such a person get out
Not even 5 minutes in the video, and I just had to stop to say these conversations are so powerful to listen to as a fellow ‘outlier’ born into dysfunction that many ppl might never see. Thank you both for sharing these insights with us❣️
I opened this video not because of the title, but because of the same thing your talked about following my instinct. Your guest has preached to me not in the way of money success but as long term mind change system. God bless you and your team.
I have seen many podcast. But this one just blew me off. I have never heard someone with all this words that just amaze me. Excellent interview; Matt Higgins is the definition of knowledge and perseverance 🙏🏼👌!!!
With 99% of TH-cam content being a joke these days, I can say this guy is speaking so much truth in this one video. Please listen to what he is saying.
The story about mom hit a little to close to home, almost cried myself. She has passed now but there was a moment in my 40's when I realized she was responsible for her own choices and there was nothing I could do to help.
Everything in life. EVERYTHING IN LIFE has an element of luck. That's not to say good luck or bad luck guarantees any particular outcome, but even being born in a first world country in the 21st century means you won the friggin cosmic lottery.
Really enjoy this one. Matt has a nice, warm, and humble personality that makes me more interested in listening to him than some of the high-achieving folks.
For several decades I’ve been looking at every decision in terms of, 1) is this something I want do if it’s the last thing I do on earth, AND 2) is this is something I want to do if I live forever. It took many years to integrate the two, but the result is: I finished everything I started and accomplished everything I set out to do. I might be hit by a meteor next minute; I don’t know. But I do know that if it happens, I’ll be glad that sending this message to you was my last act.
Hands down one of the very best interviews - i say this having resonated with dysfunction but man, absolute wisdom en utility whilst free of sensationalist flinging of motivation /self help buzzwords. Top class.
Amazing interview! Your guest resonates with people due to his humility, able to ask questions, and keeping it real especially with his relationship with his mom. I am glad he got teary eyed it shows his empathy and compassion which is a strength. Obviously his intelligence is noted, but your vibe attracts what you exude, people can see through lip service and bullshit. Thank you for keeping it real and I can’t wait to read the book! I know he put his heart and soul in the book … it’s what people need to read in moving forward - no excuses! We all have a story, How do you want yours to play out.
Good morning Tom. Love today’s show. I’ve gotten so much from this already in the first 10 minutes. Now I’m almost halfway through. Thanks and great job! 💪🏽
hey tom just wanted to remind you that these gems of podcasts that you drop add so much value to my life, considering how long youve been in this game, i feel like your podcasts need to reach more people than they already do or as many as they had been in the past. i guess it has to do with your thumbnails and titles being monotonous and repetitive. i think you provide an equally good if not better podcasts compared to diary of a ceo. if you could improve on the thumbnails and titles maybe you might be able to reach more people. i say this as someone who has been your avid listener since years now, id hate for your podcasts to die down just because someone else with more catchy thumbnails took all the views. i wish you and lisa immense success, amazing health and everything beyond, thanks for doing what you do, you mentioned in the vid how it motivates you when you do something for the sake of others so i want to remind you that the work you do is truly reaching out to people and helping them. it certainly has helped me. much love
Literally yesterday I wanted to write you a comment asking to invite him! Then I thought one day you are gonna invite him anyway, because THIS can't skip your attention 😂😂😂 Thank you Tom!! That was quick 😂 🎉🎉🎉🎉 And much love to you and Lisa 🤗 you've impacted my life tremendously 🎉🎉🎉
Something about this interview is very special. It's inspiring, deeply insightful and contains the most dense display of applicable wisdom I've seen. Tom and Matt, thank you. I hope to see more of both of you.
Thank you for sharing your journey. Already helped me so much. My questions is , at what point does one know , whether actions will lead to the achievement of a goal ? How do you identify the signs of success to keep moving forward in a certain direction or to course correct to take a different action ? 🙏
The prospect of imminent death gave me such a panic attack at 2:30 in the morning. This guy gets peace from it, I’m legit shaking from fear, crying looking at my dog, worrying about the infinite darkness.
it's the people who comes from very far which show really what is the mindset to make it. fierce determination. clarity on the truth of the situation . massive action and relentless action. if you had a similar background you just nod at everything they said. as if it was a rap music. or a gospel.
Awesome interview! Not only empowering but good reminder that we must keep a bad ass mindset. Skill acquisition, and making the best use of your time or two of the best lessons. Tom and Matt have shared.🙏
The fascinating thing about Elon is watching his eyes when he’s processing his response to a question. You can actually see him going through the data in his mind to generate the applicable output.
Do you spend more time feeling grateful for what you do have… or disappointed for what you don’t? Imagine you are holding any problems in your hand. Like a little toy, or a stone. Turn the problem around, as if it was a diamond with many facets. Allow yourself the fullness of the experience. See the different colors flashing, representing how multi-faceted the world really is. I think we have a lot of stunted kids living in basements right now till they are thirty. Not everyone needs to have a kid. I don't. I plan on starting a 501c3 with my husband and a few other childfree people to fund teens and young adults to go into the trades and offer support to them. They don't have to be yours to hand-off to. Give me a break.
I never feel insecure asking questions, but often times feel I lack the clarity to ask the right questions when I am presented with the opportunities to learn or fully understand at the time someone is available to explain... I will often come up with an ah ha later and go Oh I should have asked that! I also think maybe I might think I need to find out on my own, or maybe I just am not clear on what I really want to know at the time that it is presented to me. 🤔

I went to homelessness in my car because my parent and step parent couldn’t stay disciplined and having me clean up their financial messes. Never again. Makes me want to spit. Had to heal it off. Ugh

Great interview but I always find it hard to comprehend why Tom not dress a bit more smart just like his guests do. its a sign of reapect how his guests dress up for Tom but Tom shows no respect in his clothing. surely you can afford something more than a hoodie. also I've seen it commented a million times that table too high. not let the full body language of guests come through and looks very unprofessional and uncomfortable. its like Tom not care about his guests and has his ego so inflated that he comes first and his guests second..
