I just tested the Elven Elegance elixir which supposedly should give immunity to charm / his Beguiling Rebuke. I still got charmed the 3rd time. I imagine this will get fixed somewhere in the future, hopefully. (edit: Sarevok's helmet* also doesn't give immunity to charm, despite being an emotion? - Karlach's 2nd upgrade, while stating very clearly that it makes her immune to charm, does in fact still get charmed by Raphael... Yeah arrow of many targets is certainly the best AoE action in the game. Its range is massive, it benefits from all the weapon damage modifiers you have, it’s easy to apply piercing vulnerability, and it rolls criticals off the first target onto all the others. It’s still possible to miss some of the targets but in general it’s gonna hit four targets and likewise benefits from the weapon extra attack features.
How does this build compare to the Bard shooter in terms of damage output? What are its advantages over Slashing Flourish? I got so demotivated to think about ranged builds because of how OP Bards are with this stupid ability.
You can't use slayer arrows with slashing flourishes and those double damage. You can't use arrows of many targets either and those have the sharpshooter dmg apply to each separately so you get like 3+ times the damage of a single arrow. Combine this with the improved extra attack + action surge giving you 2 more attacks this is way stronger but also very expensive

With action surge that's two additional attacks that can do over a hundred dmg each, far outweighing the 10d8/10d10 you get from bardic dice dmg added onto your attacks by burning them all on flourishes. If you mean before lvl 11 then I don't think it's that cut and clear either: you get your second feat (alert probs) at lvl 6 whereas the bard multiclass would usually delay this till lvl 10. If you respec into war cleric 1 / fighter 6 on the next level and you have a nova round of up to 7 attacks each doubled from slayer arrows against things fights like myrkul + shield of faith + con save prof and indomitable to make sure your run doesn't end from a hold person
Yeah, I just looked it up and Beguiling Rebuke does indeed count as a charm (18 wisdom save) and the Elixir of Elven Elegance grants immunity to charm. Thanks!
It's doesn't though , you can take the hands from dolor and present them as your offer. The armor is obtained after killed the flying elephant as sacrifice. Then just buy it from the ghost at the tribunal No other evil acts are necessary.

You're sacrificing a dishonest, apathetic and negligent drunkard to avoid having to battle the legendary Sarevok and get closer to Orin for her netherstone so you can get on with saving existence as you know it. That is a decision you can justify in roleplay a gajillion different ways without necessarily being pure evil the entire rest of time.
"In combat, you deal an additional 1d6 Necrotic damage against creatures that haven't taken a turn yet." This effect presumably applies to your ranged attacks
It's from Draconic Elemental Weapon buff by using Drakethroat Glaive. Drop your weapon of choice on the ground, use Drakethroat Glaive to buff that weapon for +1d4 elem & +1 enhancement. Buff lasts until long rest, so rinse and repeat every next day. If you prefer the buff on two weapons for different characters (or for dual wielding), you can make a Sorcerer to twin cast the buff.
@@sintee106you can also drop the two enchanted weapons, give the glaive to a different sorcerer, have them use angelic slumber and then buff an additional two weapons.
Because it takes a lot of careful planning and experimenting to come up with a strategy like this. Honor mode forces you to start to think this way, but players like sin tee just push it to further limits. Personally I find it a lot of fun. There’s no cheese or exploiting in this video at all. Just taking full advantage of the same mechanics that are available to you and I. Everyone is free to enjoy the game however they like.

These arrows ate crazy .. more aoe dmg then a wizzard or sorc but with single target dmg like a gloomstalker
