Yes I would recommend this unit. I would have to say that the unit has not made me catch more fish but a wider variety of fish. I can now target better fish that live in different types of bottom.
Hello, What size battery did you install for the fish finder? Did you install the transducer through the hull with goop? Is there anything you would have done differently.
12 volt 7 amp hour battery which will run the unit about 4, 8 hour days on a single charge. the ducer was gooped to the center line of the yak with silicone. I am very happy with the unit.

I have one of these for sale on ebay but i dont have the cables or transducer i know it needs this but for £25 you cant go wrong
thinking about buying this unit would you recommend it? since owning it has it made a good impact on the amount of fish you've caught
