An Oil Painting "Dressed to Dance"

This is a 24"x18" Oil painting on Linen. The model captured the expression that I envisioned for this painting. She struck a pose that accentuated her costume, and her timely glance and posture created a dynamic composition.

Interesting to see how each painter follows a different technique. He starts with a space and refines it and only then moves on to another area. While other painters go from the general to the particular, leaving the details or parts with more details for later.
Interessante ver como cada pintor segue uma técnica diferente. Esse começa por um espaço e vai refinando ele e só depois passa para outra área. Enquanto outros pintores vão do geral para o particular, deixando os pormenores ou partes com mais detalhes para depois.

Curioous that the light on her face comes from the left, but her chin shadow has the light coming from the right.

You have keen eye, thanks. I had the light coming from the upper her upper right, and I did not want too much shadow on her chin. It would have given her a bit of a beard. Thank you for you insight and comment.
