Actually it helps them keep clean. Flies clean up delicate and intricate areas that are tough to reach by the tongue.
I guess they don't feel any pain so they just get used to it.
Guess their hide is thick. Or maybe the flies do help clean off little trash things and after that will leave her alone. I’m guessing when it’s night the flies will all be gone.

As much I loved and watched the original Lion King as a kid and to this day, no better words spoken. It doesn't work like that in real life.
It looked like a movie with a written storyline and a director the way it was filmed and the way the lioness and wild boar slid out of view. Amazing footage.
