    Really nice video with some good ideas. I just love a good cold brew.
    But there's one thing. I really think a Negroni made of 150 ml straight up booze is way too much. As a bartender myself I usually use max 30 ml of each spirit. Use a big chunk of ice in lowball and you good to go. But with your quantities, you could fill a standard glass without any ice. Maybe there has been made a mistake.
    Anyway have a nice time and drink responsibly

    • @satyr966
      @satyr966 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. I think this is a mistake. 30ml (one ounce) of each ingredient is standard for a Negroni. The text said 50ml of each, and I think Tomo said 40ml verbally. European Coffee Trip, can you clarify the amounts?

    • @tomol5785
      @tomol5785 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Dear Carsten and Jimmy! Thanks for your comments, you are totally right! We used about 35ml - max 40ml of the alcohols with 60ml of cold brew concentrate.
      I made a stronger drink few times for the crew so that's why there is 50ml by mistake. Such drink would be really storng, one per night would be enough to become tipsy easily.. We will update this info in description! :) thanks again.

    It really grinds my gears that he's saying millilitres whilst he's measuring grams! All these liquids have different density than water so it's not one to one! If you're measuring ml, you're measuring volume, if you're using a scale you're measuring grams, keep it consistent!! Otherwise it's a great content, but have some consistency in measurements.

    • @_Gartne_zum_verschoenerne_
      @_Gartne_zum_verschoenerne_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All the liquids he didn‘t meassure by vollume are probably within +-2% of 1g/ml.
      The accuracy of your scale is going to lead to more variance.
      Also, this isn’t a science video and these ratios don’t need to be exactly on point.
      Measuring by weight is more than accurate enough.

    • @InTimeTraveller
      @InTimeTraveller 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@_Gartne_zum_verschoenerne_ measuring by weight is the most accurate measurement method in the culinary arts (exactly because density of liquids can vary a lot), and the density of stuff like syrup, milk creme etc can vary by more than a couple of percentage points. However that's not the point, use weight or volume measurement I don't care too much, but don't say volume and measure weight, it's just wrong!

    • @tomol5785
      @tomol5785 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, will try to keep it more consistent next time :) The precise numbers are not so important here.

    • @InTimeTraveller
      @InTimeTraveller 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomol5785 precise numbers maybe not, but relative numbers (ratios) matter, and a 1:2 ratio by volume for example is not the same as a 1:2 ratio by weight because of the different densities of every liquid.
