In your malian game, when facing a lot of archers/javs make a ram and put your onna bugeisha inside of it. If he comes to kill it with spears, you will butcher them, otherwise you can break the mine and all the houses.
I think Mounted Samurai are great vs Byz because they don't have any equivalent cavalry units so you got mobility advantage. Especially if facing landsnakes IMO
