Two year old video and you fixed my stress for the day!! Thank you very much for the video.
Thanks for info. I thought the unit was broken. Now it works great.
This was super helpful! Thank you! I thought I was losing it when I couldn't get my trusty FX-888D to make stuff stick together anymore. 350º and it works like brand new. Woohoo!
Thank you so much! I accidentally went into the "adjust" mode instead of the "set" mode, so knowing how to reset the adjustment has just saved me from needing to buy a thermometer of some kind to properly adjust it.
Wow, this was exactly what I needed!! I was getting so frustrated trying to solder and not getting heat transfer. This fixed me right up! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for posting this!! I knocked my station off the table a while back, and it has never heated up properly since then. I came across your video and it worked perfectly. Appreciate it!
THANK YOU! I thought my soldering station went bonkers or my tips are bad or something but now it's back to normal and it didn't cost me a dime
This is exactly what happened to me. Was very frustrating. Watched this and performed reset. Soldering station is great again. I felt a bit silly but it's an easy mistake to make. Thanks much!
This happened to me. I’m pretty sure it was my fault though. If you hold down on up instead of enter to change the temp, it actually puts you in a calibration mode. So when I thought I was cranking the temp to 450 I was actually telling the Hakka that it was 100C high. So then when I set to 350C I was actually only getting 250C. The reset brings it back to factory calibration. I have a feeling this happens to a lot of people.
Worked like a charm, thanks for making this video!
Exactly what I was needing. Fixed the issue.. thank you
Thank you. Fixed my iron. I noticed for some reason it just was not getting hot enough to solder even though I had it set on 480c. now it solders better than it did on 350c and 480c it will solder large wire to copper plate.
Thank you! This helped so much!
Happened to me. Interference from a mini Tesla coil kit I think. This fixed it!
It works. Thanks man! Problem solved.
Awesome 👍
thanks worked for me too :-)
thankyou, a fix 4 me.
Next time I need a soldering ion ,as I'm currently using the one that comes with sunko spot welder, I'll buy this one
I still have my Weller from the 80s ... That is quality 😃
