Let’s improve the thermal transfer on Hakko 907 stations and clones

- Hi, today I'm going to show you how to improve the heat transfer from the resistance to the soldering iron tip. This method works well on Hakko 907 stations and clones like the Yihua 936 but also on soldering irons that use these styluses.
I use aluminum foil but if you can find very thin copper foil it's even better.

Wouldn't that crack the ceramic heating element when the temperature increases and the tip expands?
Mine is not like that it has metal around the ceramic element to protect from damaging it

Наверняка зазор исключет физическую поломку керамического нагревательного элемета при неточной геометрии остальных деталей, и прочей деформации. Вот у основания надо чем-то герметизировать, потому что окалина с жала попав в корпус паяльника может вызвать замыкание внутри схемы.
You should used old lithium battery's copper foil with thermal paste
Or just get a T12, C210, C245, TS101 or some other cartridge-style-System..

a shim from copper is much more better keeping in mide copper expansion coefficient

It's true, but a thin sheet of copper is harder to find, while an aluminum can is something we all have at home.
@@checcomaker Dismantle a worn out 18650 battery , you will find thin copper sheet ， just make sure the battery is dead and has no charge in it before dismantling .

Probably the best thing you can use is aluminum and contact paste also works good too

Do Not Recomend. All The Aluminum Expand And Stick In The Tip.. You Can Broke The Ceramic Fillament.
