FYI, It is possible to break the bolt on the tensioner, I did it. I used a larger wrench because getting it over the alternator pulley was very difficult. I tried it 3 or 4 times and went to use a larger wrench when it broke. Cost me another $115 and an hour more labor.I have put belts on other vehicles and had no idea I could break the bolt or heard of anyone else doing it. Also I'm not a real big person. When I did it again , I ran the belt to all the pulleys correctly then, I put the belt over the alternator pulley second to last then put the belt on the tensioner pulley last and it was much easier because the tensioner pulley has no lip on it. Hope this saves someone some trouble. I learned a hard lesson and I won't ever forget it.

I had to replace the belts on my Toyota and Honda and can recommend pulling the belt over the alternator second to last.

Literally just did this I found it easier to relieve the tension with a ratchet to put the belt back on this video was a great help to me my wife also helped to put the belt on

The belt size looks like it may be different on you application. You would need to loosen (or take the tension off of) the belt in order to service it. You may be able to apply some of the basic steps shown in this video to your application.

THANKS!! I have a 02 Lesabe and the Alt went out on it. Got it all changed out and just could not get sept. belt to go back on like it should have. Sadly someone before me took the sticker off that shows you the way the belt runs and I knew there must have been one of the pulley's I was not running the belt right on. Got about half throu the video and went ahhha right there...LOL...How many of us have not said that before. Belts back on and car is at 15V. Thanks again!

CraZy my belt just popped off today while driving car started to immediately smoke steering got hard😫had to call for tow..thank God it wasn’t expensive to get fixed ..I’m just a lady that wants to know what and how🤓✊🏾
