I wonder if it'd be possible for some of the insane modders to make something that allows multiple "warm up" lobbies and then I make the actual lobby and only top 42 in GTR can join. Sounds complicated and requires GTR so not ideal but Id also like anyone who wants to play to have a spot and would love if we could have 100 player cups.
I don't have the best time to compare, but at the start I liked setting 70% limits for the chicane, jumping a little more to the right to land behind the big cactus before turning to the left. This would allow me to hug close to the left and not even hop before the dip. No smoking tires and all smooth downhill. The only advantage I see is that with a shallower turn you might maintain higher speed, but I would think taking the uphill and short hop would penalize that line even if you land clean on the down slope. Is there something more to it that I'm not seeing? I know I was losing most of my speed on the rail and the immediate chicane thereafter. Does taking the starting turn wider give you an advantage?
Yes, so it might not be intuitive, but a small hop into the downhill is faster than not hopping at all. If you can hop into a downhill even if you have to take a wider line, its worth it most of the time, obviously there are exceptions, so try different lines to see whats the fastest one.

Spectators should be and to talk to spectators, and competitors with competitors. That type of chat control would probably need some support from Yannic.

This was the first time I played COTD, and just could not wrap my head around that first turn.
It's harder than it looks, theres a reason a lot of players were resetting at cp1

That would be interesting, although I do like to read chat and see what people are saying. Just need to tell mappers not to give tips out lol
