For how easy this map is, that was so confusing XD. I got a .68 with the normal line, but if maki is putting down .1's thats not going to cut it. Now that you mentioned it, i should have tried the inner on the last run, that would have been hype lol
Spectators shouldn't cause any lag. If they are, then that should be something Yannic could fix. The problem with lots of players in a lobby is physics and lights. If spectators are hidden, which I believe is the case for the CotD mod, then the game shouldn't be calculating ragdoll for the floating camera. There wouldn't be any lights either. The client doesn't need to know anything about the spectators, and perhaps it could be built in that once there is a limit of spectators reached, the game automatically won't report their position and movement vectors. Yannic, if you see this, the TV in the garage should be used as a spectator only lobby. If lag really is a problem with spectators, you could use a broadcast server which just functions as a repeater. Spectators would be automatically moved to the "TV" once they are kicked and/or if someone joins the cup lobby late, they could be automatically redirected there. Then the TV just receives UDP from the main lobby and rebroadcasts to spectator clients. Special broadcast only lobbies could be shown in the regular server list as well. Yannic could get really crazy and add transport controls so that spectators could pause, rewind, and even change playback speed with "live" streaming with the shuttle at the far right far right. If I didn't fully explain this, look at a TH-cam live stream as an example. Chat would be something else to consider, but continuing with my suggestion a week or two ago that spectators can't chat with racers, so that mappers aren't telling racers to take a turn differently for instance, this could be used to segregate conversations. Chat messages shouldn't be significant for network traffic anyway, so that doesn't really do anything for lag. More spectators than racers isn't a bad thing as long as the lobby size is about the same. Lastly, if the event is saved, you could use the TV as a way to "play" against historical sessions. Imagine replaying past CotD events by loading ghost players and then being able to compete in those sessions. Eliminations would have to be handled differently, but it would be fun to be able to drop into a session and the board could still show your rank each round, but the number of players eliminated each round would be slightly out of sync.
Hmmm maybe before a cotd we could run a test to see if spectators have any effect on lag. Issue is we need a full lobby to be able to notice. That last idea seems awesome, idk how feasible it is but sounds really fun.

You're already in the finals, you just gotta send it.
Loop gang for life
‘Everyone plays on pc’ lol. If it isn’t an issue from the game, I blame JobW for the frames he made me add the vines
it is the amount of players... not some vines xD wtf.
The vines made the map look decent, Good Job Jobw for this then (:

Another banger man!
I’ve also been having weird lag spikes recently. Even in lobbies with less than 10 people and players off.
@@_agix_ no issues for me in lobbies, must be a US thing
ya i was wondering kinda figured i was getting 20 but more or like 5 after cp 1 lol
justMaki said cork screwing was bad. Why did he lie?
My PB is with the corkscrew, but I've only managed a 43. Not sure where I'm losing time... Skill issues.
