Attackers would rather jump over than walk through the wire
I agree with you on the fact that anchors should get hatch, there's also a chance that if there's a jackal, he could scan you and not the roamer, it'll be a waste for him since he's scanning someone on the site.
Zac christensen On PC if you hold the control key while moving you walk slowly or crouch walk slowly. Because on console you can just move the stick less to walk slow but in PC there's only one speed so the control key is how you can change your walk speed.

Yasuo, The Unforgiven jager and bandit and ela have better weapons. Jager’s ads can block grenades as soon as he places it down. Bandits shock wires can prevent breaches. Ela’s grzmots also can slow down rushers. Cavis only more useful if and only if she gets an interrogation (I also can’t deny the fact one interrogation can change the course of a round) , but in high ranks players more often than not can counter her. You need to know the building structure, using explosives to create shortcut and making kill holes in a long or big hallway here's example in the map Border on 2nd fl in CCTV room you can cover the entire hallway of armory and hallway to the generator then you can make an escape route by tearing down barricade next to wooden walls from CCTV to armory (or use nades to blow the walls instead) etc. Practice the angle stuff by creating custom game using Sledge with shotgun. Doing this alone is pretty much time consuming. Not sure if this is what you are looking for... ,but I tried
ENDonPC honestly the only way to get map knowledge is to play that game for a good amount of hours. I found it very hard to learn the maps on siege and it took around 150 hours to know my way around each map. Then on top of that I have watched a fair amount of general siege vids which include a few spots, valk cams, flanking routes etc which can give you the edge but will take some time learning from vids. Back to the point learning from experience is the best way and playing over and over again you will discover more things. Hope this helped kinda :D

I'm serious when I say this, but Tachanka is the best roamer in the game. Put down the gun where you want it, and leave. People expect you to stay in room and not out roaming. Since hes slow you won't notice him flicking across the map. Theres many other techniques that work with him but these are some of the major ones.
@@emsontop yeah her shotgun is good but her 9mm C1 is perfect. At least for me. Low recoil, high damage, big magazine. I can adjust to the fact that she has a lower fire rate by aiming for the head or landing the first shot.
Another reason I agree with the anchor reinforcing hatches is because jackal will go to hatches to get footprints, if it is a reamer the reamer will be exposed, however if an anchor does it he will track the anchor and it wont impact because hes on site
God no. As a Cav player, I use her 3 speed and silent step, along with opening up a bunch of hatches w/ her shotgun in the preparation phase to be able to make incredibly long flanks quickly and quietly. The point of Cav, imo, is to be able to make ridiculous flanks without the enemy being able to predict it.

The primary weapons aren't winning any awards either, as I would say most people would prefer a MP7 or 416C. Cav is definitely in the best tier or possibly even the best roamer you blew her off way too quickly. 1. When slow walking with silent step, she literally makes 0 sound 2. If you are accurate, her pistol is basically a shot gun which is capable of long range attacks 3. An interragation going off is possibly one of, if not the best thing to occur for the defending team during a round 4. She has a smaller hit box than Jäger, Bandit and Pulse 5. With a good headset you basically have pulses ability (to a certain degree) TL;DR Cav is literally all advantages aside from her gun
KnuckFuckle So what u are saying is that basically every operator is like pulse but to a certain degree? And her pistol definitely isn't a shotgun. I don't think that VG meant that you shouldn't roam with cav, I think he meant that Cav just isn't as good as pulse, bandit, jager. Which is true, since Cav doesn't really get used in pro league anymore, while those 3 do. Once u get to plat 2, Cav isn't really viable anymore. And add the fact that she's the least flexible operator in the game, since roaming is basically the only thing she can do, considering her gadets, her ability and her stats.
My opinion: Cav is the best roamer, I think this cuz she is 3 speed and while flanking silence is key, and sometimes catching a lone enemy offgaurd can be an easy interragation
But in higher ranks they know how to roam clear properly and cav had meh guns. Other roamers such as Vigil can make it harder to roam clear and sometimes make them face check him.
There are a lot of reasons i could think off. subpar guns, gagdets that only help her and not her team, Ability that isn't viable half the time and shes also made for roaming meaning that the moment they see you play cav they KNOW your coming from behind. The jäger could be on site but caveira wont be. If i play against a rook i wouldn't expect him to be on the top floor while objective is bottom floor but if i played a caveira i'd check every single room and corner on the top floor before i went to objective on bottom floor. Caveiras weakness is just that, shes meant for roaming.
Yes, she's meant for roaming. It also means that when your team is dropping like flies, your gadget and ability are almost useless when you have to run back in to defend the objective.
Legion Luna Her guns are on the weak side and she doesn't provide enough for her team unless she gets an interrogation which is rare against plat and diamond players and nearly impossible in major and pro leagues. She is good for tanks like silver though because the communication is weak and the skill is not great.

Also during prep phase, run with your pistol out, you run much faster. Especially if you’re a 1speed, it makes a huge difference if you’re going for hatches, or maestro placing his evil eyes(but it also helps a lot as a 3speed, e.g. getting all your prismas places as alibi)

you can still move the drone around. Btw valkyrie is just a better choice.. Echo is alright in maps where they have easy access to obj and are close to it since you can stick around those area's, wait for them to push and echo them so 1 or more of them are dizzy and you've got another operator most of the time to kill them while you still have time to shoot them. So he's good to roam but not too far from obj since getting back is a pain

thats like...your opinion man...and besides..when you think "defense" you either thing fortification or booby trap... so...trap operators are decent concept. specially since frost traps can often catch people by suprised on stair corners or window sills. but I will say alot of people do need help with kapkans traps. alot of people often set them on windows or at eye lvl on doors. which is pretty bad.

I agree with just about all the questions EXCEPT the flanking and running. I say when you flank someone and get a pick, hold that position simply because you KNOW the allies will come look for you. If they drone you out then yea move then but other than that I feel holding that position will maximize the amount of kills you could possibly get.

Cav is definitely a mid. She was a mid when this video came out and her upcoming nerf is going to cement her further as a mid. She was built for roaming but as new ops came her viability had decreased significantly.
Gold. I'm a noob though I joined siege as of May 2018, and while I do have all of the dlc ops expect for Hibana, I haven't actually spent time learning the maps that well, except for House. And I main Echo, what I do is I wait for the enemy to appear on my drone, stun them, and then rush, and return to the objective. I'm not positive if it is the best strategy, but it works for me.
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO DOESNT CONDONE SPAWN PEAKING AND SUCH, it’s so annoying. I do it very rarely and feel so bad afterwards and won’t do it for the rest of the game. 90% of the time I thankfully don’t hit my shots. You can’t even get into the building or can’t have a chance to fight because of it

When I first started I always roamed especially when defense areas are tight. Even though flanking is a pretty well known strategy, people seem to have trouble understanding when to flank and make an aggressive play. I had teams where we had positional advantages yet would get massacred due to raw skill.
Tachanka roamer is best. Just drop your turret at your team so they can use it, then just leave to kill all enemies. Nobody expects the flankchanka

@@emsontop yeah her shotgun is good but her 9mm C1 is perfect. At least for me. Low recoil, high damage, big magazine. I can adjust to the fact that she has a lower fire rate by aiming for the head or landing the first shot.
Another reason I agree with the anchor reinforcing hatches is because jackal will go to hatches to get footprints, if it is a reamer the reamer will be exposed, however if an anchor does it he will track the anchor and it wont impact because hes on site

God no. As a Cav player, I use her 3 speed and silent step, along with opening up a bunch of hatches w/ her shotgun in the preparation phase to be able to make incredibly long flanks quickly and quietly. The point of Cav, imo, is to be able to make ridiculous flanks without the enemy being able to predict it.
She has literally the best shotgun in the game, her pistol is great because it has great damage close up.

Andy Sanders, yes, but that is only at point blank range.After that, the gun has significant drop off. The primary weapons aren't winning any awards either, as I would say most people would prefer a MP7 or 416C. Cav is definitely in the best tier or possibly even the best roamer you blew her off way too quickly.
1. When slow walking with silent step, she literally makes 0 sound
2. If you are accurate, her pistol is basically a shot gun which is capable of long range attacks
3. An interragation going off is possibly one of, if not the best thing to occur for the defending team during a round
4. She has a smaller hit box than Jäger, Bandit and Pulse
5. With a good headset you basically have pulses ability (to a certain degree)
TL;DR Cav is literally all advantages aside from her gun

So what u are saying is that basically every operator is like pulse but to a certain degree? And her pistol definitely isn't a shotgun. I don't think that VG meant that you shouldn't roam with cav, I think he meant that Cav just isn't as good as pulse, bandit, jager. Which is true, since Cav doesn't really get used in pro league anymore, while those 3 do. Once u get to plat 2, Cav isn't really viable anymore. And add the fact that she's the least flexible operator in the game, since roaming is basically the only thing she can do, considering her gadets, her ability and her stats.

My opinion: Cav is the best roamer, I think this cuz she is 3 speed and while flanking silence is key, and sometimes catching a lone enemy offgaurd can be an easy interragation
But in higher ranks they know how to roam clear properly and cav had meh guns. Other roamers such as Vigil can make it harder to roam clear and sometimes make them face check him.

There are a lot of reasons i could think off. subpar guns, gagdets that only help her and not her team, Ability that isn't viable half the time and shes also made for roaming meaning that the moment they see you play cav they KNOW your coming from behind. The jäger could be on site but caveira wont be.
If i play against a rook i wouldn't expect him to be on the top floor while objective is bottom floor but if i played a caveira i'd check every single room and corner on the top floor before i went to objective on bottom floor.
Caveiras weakness is just that, shes meant for roaming.

Yes, she's meant for roaming. It also means that when your team is dropping like flies, your gadget and ability are almost useless when you have to run back in to defend the objective.
Legion Luna Her guns are on the weak side and she doesn't provide enough for her team unless she gets an interrogation which is rare against plat and diamond players and nearly impossible in major and pro leagues. She is good for tanks like silver though because the communication is weak and the skill is not great.

Also during prep phase, run with your pistol out, you run much faster. Especially if you’re a 1speed, it makes a huge difference if you’re going for hatches, or maestro placing his evil eyes(but it also helps a lot as a 3speed, e.g. getting all your prismas places as alibi)

ChocoboGoesKweh it depends where you're standing or droning, because if you're on your drone the whole time waiting to pre-aim they might go a different way other than your prediction and sneak up on you
you can still move the drone around. Btw valkyrie is just a better choice.. Echo is alright in maps where they have easy access to obj and are close to it since you can stick around those area's, wait for them to push and echo them so 1 or more of them are dizzy and you've got another operator most of the time to kill them while you still have time to shoot them. So he's good to roam but not too far from obj since getting back is a pain

I agree with just about all the questions EXCEPT the flanking and running. I say when you flank someone and get a pick, hold that position simply because you KNOW the allies will come look for you. If they drone you out then yea move then but other than that I feel holding that position will maximize the amount of kills you could possibly get.

Another reason why anchors should reinforce hatches and off-site is because of Jackal. If he goes over to the hatches and scans the footprints, if a roamed reinforced it, they’ll be spotted. If an anchor gets scanned it’s not as bad.

Gold. I'm a noob though I joined siege as of May 2018, and while I do have all of the dlc ops expect for Hibana, I haven't actually spent time learning the maps that well, except for House. And I main Echo, what I do is I wait for the enemy to appear on my drone, stun them, and then rush, and return to the objective. I'm not positive if it is the best strategy, but it works for me.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO DOESNT CONDONE SPAWN PEAKING AND SUCH, it’s so annoying. I do it very rarely and feel so bad afterwards and won’t do it for the rest of the game. 90% of the time I thankfully don’t hit my shots. You can’t even get into the building or can’t have a chance to fight because of it

Luca Testa just play casual like crazy, you’ll understand the maps after a while. Roam on defense to pick up on usual flanking routes and entry spots

When I first started I always roamed especially when defense areas are tight.
Even though flanking is a pretty well known strategy, people seem to have trouble understanding when to flank and make an aggressive play. I had teams where we had positional advantages yet would get massacred due to raw skill.
