Deimos players try to not tunnel vision (impossible)
as a deimos player i can confirm ive never completed this challenge
I’ve genuinely tried to not tunnel vision as Deimos but it’s hard to not focus on what I’m used to going after, the ping is just too enticing!

Deimos tells you where the enemy is, as in with words, so callouts should be easy for anyone that can read.

Lots of people don’t actually notice that it’s written what room they are in under their icon when you track them, they just go by knowledge which can be hard sometimes in heat of the moment. Our squad has won so many more rounds playing this way.

I use Deimos for vertical play, instead of hunting roamers I target ankers and shoot them through soft floors or ceilings.

I think Deimos is really only going to be good with coms and even then only in the higher ranks where getting revealed as a roamer means you're about to get shot from 4 different directions. Though he is pretty useful for casual play where you see more Cav and you can just make their lives miserable
We all will remember -the default camera on chalet- that vartity gaming forgot to shoot Fenrir devices.
If anyone asks if there's a counter to Deimos ping yes there is, Mute jammer can block the signal that way the Deimos player cannot see you but you can see his position.
I put him in the same category as Sledge. Solid weapons and a solid ability, comes down to being good in gunfights at the end.
Whenever Deimos tracks me, I'm dead. They wallbang or floorbang me ever single time. When I play Deimos, I can only hit the metal rebar in the floor, and then they counterfire me and I die. Why does everyone else have so much success with him?

I don't play Siege anymore but in the past three days I have heard everything from. "This operator is overpowered" to this "this operator sucks." It seems like we collectively don't know how good this operator is lmao.

I like the duality of deimos - jackal with vigil - caveira, since they can track one but not the other. They go cav, I go Deimos; They go vigil, I go jackal. Vice versa for defense
I sometimes use Deimos’s ability to bait someone out of a room. Doesn’t always work if the opponent is scared.

ngl i love deimos! after 1 game on kanal i got "pinched" by a monty, ash, iana, all while getting tracked by deimos on new bridge i was able to wallbang him through the big window and get the kill on iana and almost had ash (she was like 20). now i kinda like when deimos tracks me cause i just get super aggressive (unless theyre expecting me to get aggressive then i'll try to bait him) and usually wallbang him before he can get me
edit: also ive been using tubarao a bit more this season and its even more satisfying watching deimos buring a scan on me just to tunnel vision on a new teammate and get a free kill (or two if hes pushing with a teammate) on him

Me and my friend will use Deimos as a roam clear, I have him track and I try to cut off the roaming enemy. We have a pretty good win rate with him but my friend is still new so the callouts are never there but I use the pressure to listen to sound cues.

Deimos can be played like this but he can also be played as a hunter hunting roamers and clear sight with the help of drones hes very versitile
TBH, I'm really bad with callouts. And when I play Deimos, I usually shut the drone before swinging. I'm kinda effective though!!

i dont see anyone use him right. One of the best ways to use him is if you tag someone and they take cover particularly just concealment like soft walls then trigger the 1v1 when you know you have more health and theyre scared to peak. it forces anchors to stay anchored and get either clapped by you who has more health and should win the gunfight or even better you tell your team how low they are and where they are. its to get anchors not roamers and not being used right.
