These Japan videos makes you realise that one day you can have everything you need,& the next you can end up with nothing,it's heartbreaking that these families can't go back to get their possessions,things that was given to them by the people they loved,items that are priceless, actually makes me cry,I hope all those that survived goes on to live a happy & fulfilled life ❤
I'm a cat lover too it's sad too see all those cats with no food how did they get there. Great video dave
Amazing how a community can change that fast ,one day busy place and a lot of people,and almost overnight not many people there and everything changed in your life ,only shows never take anything for granted,here today gone tomorrow, y'all are very brave to go to a foreign place and explore and not really knowing what to expect

I'm sure cats have no trouble at all catching all the food they could want there. With all the abandoned buildings being reclaimed by nature I'm sure there is a over abundance of rats,mice and birds etc. Those cats are most likely generations away from their domestic parents and pretty much feral/wild now.
Yes and they will be loaded with tapeworm.Who will treat that

Only just recently found your channel and have been exploring your videos. Love them! As much as I hate to see abandoned animals, the cats thankfully looked fed from whatever rodents live on the island, though I wish they could be cared for properly. Fascinating! Amazing to think a few people still live there. I know those cats are feral and can fend for themselves, but as a cat person, it would be nice to think of someone looking after them 😻
I believe they are hence why they are ok around us.. people do visit the island and feed them 😉

Oh my - this was Fantastic! This is hands down the best explore from Japan. A whole island, once full of life and children, events and now silent and overgrown and covered in vegetation. The empty apartments, the last one full of everything, the photo albums always get me. The cherry on top was the hospital, of course. The dentist chairs, the teeth! The operating room, all the files, equipment. Somehow I was afraid you were actually going to walk on the old walkway between the buildings up on the roof! What an adventure you’re having, thank you for taking us with you on this trip of a lifetime❤️

It's an amazing place. I watched Steve's take on this place, a few years ago. This island has great potential in the future. It was good to see more of it, the hospital is cool, it's antique. I get sad when I see the kitties. Thanks for taking us with you to the island, with the old gang. Stay well, Dave, till next time.
You don't have to be sad about the cats. Don't worry, the cats are fed by islanders and a veterinarian visits the island regularly. Rather, it seems that the problem is that ignorant people like them come to the island and overfeed the cats. And as you say, I think this island has a lot of potential. In fact, there seems to be a movement to attract more tourists. Sightseeing tours are offered on the island that allow visitors to enter restricted areas such as coal mines, and they seem to have a good reputation.However, attracting tourists to the island also had the negative effect of attracting TH-camrs like them to the island. Locals are said to be angry that people like them are illegally entering buildings in restricted areas and filming videos. Therefore, some island residents seem reluctant to attract tourists. The islanders' true feelings are that they don't reject tourists, but they also don't seem to welcome them.

I think you did an amazing job with the video. I don't understand how they afford to keep things open. Love the music you used for the video. You do such amazing work. I think the room in the hospital that had the big “bowls” with lids was the kitchen later in the room I saw what would be a stove. Amazing how so much technology was left behind. Thanks for checking this island out. Amazing they keep the school open for three students.

Thank you for going to this island, I have so many questions now, how come these people didn’t take anything with them. What happened, where did everyone go.how sad for the few people still living there.I am having one of my heart valves replaced in five days and this hospital is freaking me out.
As they finished taking all the coal from under the sea work dried up and went where the money is. 2016 there was 160 people remaining

Totally loved this I hated going to the dentist to such a shame about all the wasted medical equipment which could be saved such a lot of waste in our world with the views would be awesome tourist island lots of potential also do up some parts and turn into history museum in parts I’m sure people love to know there life stories awesome thank you for what you do xx
