Very good instructional video as usual. Several questions: What brand of jack and jack stands are you using, or what do you recommend? Really good looking wheels! The valve stems appear to be recessed making them less of a target for off roading. One of the "valve stems" appears to have a cap retention strap. Is this aftermarket or something unique to you wheels. Thank you.

yeah, looks like he's only used it a few times. the angle grinder is my favorite tool, cringed when he kept putting the blade in line with his face. It's easier and a better cut if you're looking at an angle, but i guess it just takes time to learn these things.

Cool video again! Do you have a VC Stryker 2" body lift on this van? I couldn’t see the actual size at the end. Based on comment below it seems they are 285/75-17 which are actually a little less than 34". Have you guys tried true 35x12.5 or 315/70-17 with ACC update? Thanks

      - 295/75/16 * 14mm wheel spacer for front strut and tire clearance

      - 295/70/17 * 14mm wheel spacer for front strut and tire clearance
      - 305/70/17 * 14mm spacer, with aftermarket wheels in the 7.5 to 8” wide range
      - 285/75/17 * Will require minor fender trimming, 14mm spacer on some tire types
      - 315/70/17 * 14mm spacer, front mudflap removed, pinch seam trimmed and front bumper plastic must be trimmed.
      - 35/10.5/17 * Front mudflap removed, pinch seam trimmed and front bumper plastic must be trimmed.

Is the bronze wheels has the correct offset to fit 6 pot calipers in 17"?
Also, why is the tuner does not correct the speedo? Does it flash the ecm or its just a piggy back and has to be connected at all times to work?

    • @owloffroad

The offset helps with clearance but we cannot guarantee fitment with aftermarket brakes. We are working on correcting the speedo as well, but with all things Mercedes, it is complicated to accomplish

    • @owloffroad

I still have the spacers on but ouw wheels have the larges offset of any Sprinter wheel we are aware of at the moment. Therefore the stock Owl Talon wheel will be roughly the same offset as a Black Rhino Arsenal with 20mm spacers.
