You're a great chef & Patriot. We all love you because you keep Americas spirit positive with delicious recipes as well as love of country during these trying times.
Native Texan living out here in the UK, Military Vet and now contractor. I gotta say I love watching your videos! My family and I always cook on our cast iron whether it be on the stove or camping on the fire, the 12 in dutch oven and skillet always come along! You have given me many ideas of what to throw in the pan next. Thank you and your family for making such good, wholesome videos that always bring a smile to my face and make me feel like i'm back home on the ranch. I also spent many years in NM while in the USAF living in Albuquerque and Clovis, so it makes a lot of your recipes hit home for me. Maybe one time i'm home from overseas for a visit ill get lucky enough to come see one of your presentations. I grew up east of Ft.Worth so not too far from your neck of the woods. Thanks again for great videos! My hats off to you sir!
Here in the UK we use brandy instead of white wine and Worcestershire. Usually served with white rice and a side of green/French beans. Kent, I appreciated the Hopak! 🤠🇺🇲🇬🇧🇷🇺🤠
This is one of the most delicious dishes that people don't make very often. When I was a kid I had to go live with another family. All of us took a turn every night of the week cooking dinner for the family. The oldest brother in the house who was about 16 years old used to make beef stroganoff for us every week and it was everybody's favorite.
I love knowing of good folk like you. You can just tell. I reckon I say this for me as well as many watching your channel "I really appreciate your instruction and you passing on down your knowledge of things". --thank you thank you! Love, warmth and God bless.
In Sweden we have our own version called “sausage stroganoff” with onions, mixed tomatoes, sour cream and a mild Swedish sausage called Falukorv. It’s usually something served in school and is comfortfood :)
Beef and noodles was always ours here in the Midwest US. Slow cooked chuck roast in a crockpot making a thick gravy, boil the thick straight egg noodles and drain them, you can use the frozen ones here in the states if you’re not up for all the work. Then served with mashed potatoes and corn.
You all ever get out to the Northern AZ, you are welcome to cook on the fire at my home any time! Thank you, Shannon, and the quality control team for another delicious dish! 🇺🇸
“East, like Russia”, love it. Received my spatula and your seasonings in the mail yesterday, and yes I’m already using them. Having a snow day today here in Vernon, Texas, so I made your pork and beans. Perfect dish to warm us up on this cold day, and it was delicious. Can’t wait to try this recipe. God bless.
Okay, everybody take a breath. I am a big Kent Rollins fan. It was a compliment to his comfort food. I'm a country boy and love what he was suggesting. Calm down.
Than you for wonderful recipe.. my mum made this when we were kids and your recipe is just like hers.. I am a Dutch New Zealander.. I made this tonight and YUM YUM !
The dances at the end are the. Scoop of ice cream on the top of my favorite cake. Love them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and Talents. Blessings from Gettysburg Pa…
My birthday is coming up in 6 days, and I'm looking for some recipes to cook for me and my friends. And hoo boy, this one looks like delicious and easy-looking one. God bless you and your family this fine February, Mr. Rollins!
Dear Cowboy Kent & Miss Shannon, we had some leftover brisket, and the idea was to “recycle” it into beef stroganoff. Naturally, I came to your channel for guidance….from S.E.Tennessee, you all are appreciated.
That's the first time I seen a Russian dance done by a man wearing cowboy boots...but this is TH-cam and anything goes! Keep cooking your awesome food Mr. Rollins and be safe on the trail!🤠
You sir, Kent, are a national treasure. Many blessings to you and yours, and the doggos. God has given you a gift, whether you see it or not, and you share it with the world. Thanks again, looking forward to the day I can meet you.
I made this for my wife today out of the elk she shot last year. It was amazing. Our dogs thought is smelled good too 😋. Thank you for all the good food. This is not the first recipe and not the last I will use of yours.
Those German Spaetzle will hold the gravy too. We use those "shells" now and then as they also hold a good drop of liquid/gravy each. Thank you for the show.
That's very interesting, I don't know it as a pasta. Spaetzle in my dad's hometown, far Southeast corner of SoDak, is pork trimmings and potatoes, fried up and served for breakfast. ;)
It's cold and snowy here, and I need something that's good, hot, and plenty. And lo and behold, Kent has it covered! Great video as always, Shannon does a really good job producing them.
I only watch one cooking show on TH-cam.... And I always enjoy watching that one!!! Yep, it's none other than Cowboy Kent Rollins!!!!! Thanks you sir, you're the best!!!!!
That's some good ol home cooking right der . Got old glory flying behind ya and the dogs by your side couldn't ask for anything else. Keep up the good videos Kent
Wow! That looks good Kent. I have to tell you, my little baby 1 year old boy watches your videos with me and he loves your dances at the end! He especially loved your Russian dance 😍
Another great video from the Rollins household!!! Mmmmm can't wait to cook it!!! From the Greer household we wish you and yours much love, joy and peace of mind without ill will intent and prejudice... stay safe everyone!!!
MR. KEN YOU ARE REALLY AN AMAZEING COWBOY COOK. I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM YOU AND WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO AND YOUR CHRISTIAN FAITH. I LOVE IN GEORGIA AND HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE COWBOY LIFESYYLE USED TO RIDE IN SOME SMALL TIME RODEO S AND WON SOMETIME. WE GREW UP RAISEING HORSES- COWS -HOGS AND CHICKENS. My Great Grandma ( born in 1892 ) taught me this recipe in about 1977 ( she died in 1988 ) . She was the best history teacher I had ever . Yours is the same as hers for the most part . I do the noodles and then , everyone needs more carbs , so I serve that on toast . LOL great video My man and God bless !
Kent, If you all ever come to Ohio we'd be honored to meet you and attend your event! Love your cooking and humble presentation of great Anerican food! God Bless you both!
This is very interesting and looks delicious! I'm Russian, and Beef Stroganoff truly is an undying classic around here, but I've been cooking it differently all my life. The process is basically the same as mr. Rollins shows, but the ingredients are a bit different - no mushrooms, ground mix of black pepper, coriander and cumin instead of hot sauce, and a cup or two of sour cream for a smoother texture and additional thickness. That said, to the best of my knowledge, there is no "canonical" recipe for this dish, because the original was lost in time, apparently. Still, I like this version a lot - although personally I'm not a fan of mushrooms, this seems to be leaner and a tad hotter than the recipe that I'm used to, so I'll definitely give it a shot!
I lived with a Ukanarian/Russian family while doing my undergraduate studies. Msn, they and their Russian graduate student friends knew how to party!!!
Finally over the dreaded man flu, thanks to everyone for the well wishes. Tried those sliders you made, ohhhh boy were they ever good. Thanks again, Kent, keep up the amazing work!
I received your cookbook for my birthday this year. It is wonderful! I poured through it while enjoying my coffee. The pages are alive with beautiful pictures, scripture, stories, and of course, delicious recipes. Thank you for putting the hard work in and sharing such a great book with us!
Great looking grub, and points for the Justin Wilson reference, I loved watching him in the old days, The way he said onion was addicting, unnn yawwwwn, tell you what I'm gonna did.
Thanks so much for the personal reply! There’s so much to love about the wonderful site and content you have created. The legacy of the pioneers and cowboys that shaped our nation needs to be evangelized, they were brave, creative and true patriots as you are sir.
Yes! Stroganoff - thank you! Hubby just told me he had a craving for the Stroganoff he had growing up in Kansas. His grandmother made very close to your recipe. She owned the only restaurant in Cedar Vale and she made it for the town every Thursday :) He's got the back hitch and he deserves a dinner full of memories tomorrow. Thank you for always making such wonderful recipes that are easy to understand and don't have a million ingredients that you have to run to the store for. I will always buy your cookbooks. You do good old fashioned stick to your ribs food and you do it right.
Howdi from South Africa....I love your honest and pure approach to everything based on the most important element of life, FAITH....caring for your fellow man. Watching your program makes me put on weight....lol....home cooked goodness like our grandparents used to make...with love and care. One suggestion, have the camera man/woman interject some more with the querky comments and suggestion...I love it. Keep the good food cooking ..... blessing from South Africa!!
This is similar to the Stroganoff my Czech mother used to make. However, you are missing a CRUCIAL ingredient! You should try adding "Pride of Szeged" Sweet Hungarian Paprika. I use about 1/4 cup when I make this wonderful dish. Also, there's no such thing as too much garlic!
@ Tony Weaver , i'm 56 yr., old Irishman from rural Kentucky, i agree 100 %, Hungarian paprika, sweet, hot , smoked, is the best in the world. Also my friend, in my garden i grow hungarian hot wax peppers, i cut out a small sliver & they look like a canoe, lol, i sprinkle in Lawry's brand garlic salt( Lawrys only) & place in a slice of provolone or mozzerela & grill them til the peppers are tender & cheese melts, delicious, you should try it friend, God Bless you & yours.( btw, the way the peppers have some spicy heat so please be careful)
I thank you good sir. I haven't had no stroganoff in years and this here gave me an idea for what I could do with some leftover brisket from last night. I didn't have no mushrooms but I surely made me a supper that'll stick to my ribs. I appreciate the inspiration for this evening and look forward to seeing more of your scrumptious cowboy cooking.
I’m new to your channel and I also have a new outdoor channel that involves hunting fishing and cooking. Just wanted to thank you for the armadillo egg recipe I saw on your channel. My wife and I copied that recipe the only difference is we actually used armadillo meat along with the sausage! It was incredible!
As always a great meal and a little boogie at the end. Thank you for including MO on your book tour. I fell down the stairs & broke my dang leg 2 days ago, but I'll be healed by May. I've only wanted to meet youns for about 6 years now! :)
Ohmygoodness, you’re the answer to my imagination! Just wondering about looking for a BS recipe, and here you are, without any search. Quick, what am I thinking now? Thanks for the heads up to not boil pasta in cast iron, had no idea it would “blacken” the pasta.
Hey kent wish my tablet had smell a vision. Stroganoff is one of my favorites, tuna noodle casserole. Thankyou for your recipes sir,you made this 73 year old man happy. Hooyah brother
Brother that's an awesome one pot meal. I know what Saturday dinner is going to be. This would be a perfect comfort food dinner for the cold wet weekend ahead. As always thank you for another entertaining video. God Bless Kent, Shannon and puppies.
This was dinner on Saturday night and it was really good. I didn't have any white wine (somebody polished off the half bottle we had in the fridge) substituted the red left over from the Beef Bourguignon. Other than the wine followed the recipe to the letter. Made a fine meal for the wife and I. I'll make this recipe again. Thank you for the recipe and God Bless
Thanks Kent for another fantastic looking recipe! I'm looking forward to making it and to seeing you on your Book Tour. I will catch you in Kidron, Ohio since that's only about 30 miles from my home. Thanks again!
Boy oh boy! My cousins wife use to make this when I was young bout 25 year ago I always wanted to learn how to make but never could find the same recipe for it and hamburger helper don’t taste the same mmm. Mmmmm. Mmm. Thanks Kent and you simplified it kind sir you a man after my own heart Y’all have a blessed one thank ye kind sir from Nashville Tennessee! Hope We able to catch you when you here.!
That beef is going to come out of there so tender your friends will be asking you, Hey is that veal? And you can tell them, Nah brother it's just a little beef! 😁 Looks awesome, cook on cowboy!
I'm imagining taking a potato to a coarse cheese grater from that last description, and the image in my head of the stroganoff from this vid over that is making me very hungry... ;)
I just made this. WOW! We could only eat half. We vacuumed sealed the rest without the sour cream & will make the egg noodles to order & add the sour cream when re-heated. I will respond when we try it.. The worcestershire makes it along with Kent's way of slow cooking. Where I come from, its called delayed need gratification, which means you put something off so you can enjoy it more later. It sure applies to this as all the other recipes, that I tried, were done in 30 to 45 minutes. This took me over an hour & 30 minutes & well worth it! Doin' tha Jigg!
Absolutely Fantastic!!! One of my very favorite meals on God's green earth!!! A very very good friend of mine from high school has his mom's recipe... the most special time on Earth, eating that meal with my good friends!!! Bringing a tear to my eye, it makes me so happy!
had me worried there fer a second with the dance thought you were gonna fall into Bertha and we would have Kent Rump roast to go along with the stroganoff
Great looking beef stroganoff Kent, that meat sliced so thin, I know that's delicious, my mother made this a lot growing up, I always enjoyed it. U brought back good memories mentioning Justin Wilson the Cajun cook, I grew up,watching him cook. As always thanks for sharing your fabulous dishes with us.
As Russian, I approve this message! Good job Chef!
As a Mexican that loves strogannoff I approve it too🤣
And as a German I approve this recipe too 🤤😍💘🤠😁
Duse help whats the russian like songbin video
I'm just wondering where LifeOfBoris is... I half expected him to call someone a western spy at some point.
As an American of German and Irish decent I approve also

Another winner. Bless you both and the babies too. Sending hugs from Tennessee.🤗
Ohmygoodness, you’re the answer to my imagination! Just wondering about looking for a BS recipe, and here you are, without any search. Quick, what am I thinking now? Thanks for the heads up to not boil pasta in cast iron, had no idea it would “blacken” the pasta.
glad to help
Thank you for always including the pageantry and flair in your videos.
This will be a great meal with deer meat I killed this year. Great content!
Hey kent wish my tablet had smell a vision. Stroganoff is one of my favorites, tuna noodle casserole. Thankyou for your recipes sir,you made this 73 year old man happy. Hooyah brother

Kent I just made the best cheese goodness sandwiches. Oh my yumm
You should be up next for the Presidential Medal of Freedom! 🇺🇸
Thanks Kent for another fantastic looking recipe! I'm looking forward to making it and to seeing you on your Book Tour. I will catch you in Kidron, Ohio since that's only about 30 miles from my home. Thanks again!

The traditional Russian way is to serve this over shredded potatoes.
Wait? Like hashbrowns?? Sounds like something worth trying.
potato cut in small peace I think he mean
Almost between hash browns and thin French fries.
Is that white wine in your pocket?
They will be going to Rock Ridge after dinner to watch the show.
Absolutely Fantastic!!!
One of my very favorite meals on God's green earth!!!
A very very good friend of mine from high school has his mom's recipe... the most special time on Earth, eating that meal with my good friends!!!
Bringing a tear to my eye, it makes me so happy!
Thanks for watching
had me worried there fer a second with the dance thought you were gonna fall into Bertha and we would have Kent Rump roast to go along with the stroganoff
lol
Great looking beef stroganoff Kent, that meat sliced so thin, I know that's delicious, my mother made this a lot growing up, I always enjoyed it. U brought back good memories mentioning Justin Wilson the Cajun cook, I grew up,watching him cook. As always thanks for sharing your fabulous dishes with us.
Here’s a joke: Did you know you can’t use Beef Stew as a password? It’s not stroganoff!
Kerry 🤣🤣🤣 Had to read it three times. Good one tho...
