In Arizona it was the same way, the put you with other races me being from California Bakersfield to be exact. I dropped off a homie at the hospital and dipped but I didn't go home I took off to Arizona on the run because I knew I was wanted for interrogation and well I didn't know shit. Me no abla Ingles. I got into a scuffle with some dude he claimed to be from a gang they call Wet Back Power and I'm a south sider from Cali while we were letting hands go a police rolled up in a bicycle and called back up. Once back up arrived I was detained they ran my name and was booked for the death of my homie I dropped off at the hospital, I was in Phoenix maximum security keep in mind I had just turned 18 years old and this was my first time being locked up so the only thing I knew about being locked up was everything my homies and brothers told me about their, jail, prison experience and In Cali you get celled up with your own kind. As soon as I got booked and moved from the holding tank to head to my 2 man cell where I was pending being extradited well the officers took me to a cell with a white homie inside and I was like wtf is going on? In my head I was like "ok I know what time it is" and as soon as the door opened and removed my cuffs I charged homie got mased and removed from cell now they were taking me to another cell with a black homie in it and now I'm thinking "it's a set up" these cops want me dead. I noticed the cell next door with a Mexican homie from Arizona who quickly told me through the window that in Arizona you cell up with whoever they put you with to cut it out before I start a gang war. The very next day I was moved to 23hr lock down with nothing but California dudes which was a lot better since we could relate. California dudes had their own yard as we were waring with the Arizona Mexicans . Once I got extradited back to Cali I hit D pod 6 in pre-trial where I got celled up with a og homie from my hood, beat my case as there was nothing on me besides I took a fool to the hospital and try to save his life, and was released a year later.
