My guess is that Chihiro and Momo are graduating to pursue other interests or IRL stuff. They've been in the company for like 5 years now, it makes sense that they would want to try something new. In a sense, it's what a graduation should be, having done you best in the agency, leaving your mark, then heading to the next stage. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Chihiro ended up in VSPO.
Not just that, but Chihiro has alot of haters in Jp, and they contantly "leak" stuff about her (just rumors about her, probably nothing true) that's very annoying. I've seen Anicolor put legal statements about her at least 3 times already, i hope she goes on Vspo too

I don't think people understand how important Chihiro is/was for Nijisanji, her leaving is bigger than the whole Gundou thing and more akin to Coco leaving hololive. She is not just a founding member, but also someone that is basically built for streaming her hours are bonkers, and she is a very entertaining personality.

I had no idea who they are so I did a quick search. Both had their debut in 2018. Chihiro 5 months after Tokino Sora and Momo 3 months after Roboco. Those are OGs. I wonder why they left. The new Phase wave is pretty interesting. The intro animation was done by Mazumaro who also did the legendary Ina vs. Myth animation.
I hope it's not one of the reasons, but Chihiro has been suffering intense harassment from some haters the last years. Even Nijisanji got to took to court some of them and won, but is possible that all that situation made her to want to take a long break.

Niji indonesia and Niji korea were a thing but they got merged and then that merging got merged into niji jp. Of the former niji Id 19 members only 8 ish are still around. Niji en lost atleast 4-5 and don't get me started on jp side. What it comes down to is niji hires in waves and each wave is normally 4-6 members. What happen then is that they get to swim or sink and they do get support but it gets split over so many talents and there are only that many niji fans with limited time and money. Look up nijisanji id official on youtube ( branch is now defunked but channel still exist ) . Under featured channels you see all the former niji id members. Amicia Michella, siska, layla, nara, miyu ottavia, azura, taka radjiman just to mention some of them have all graduated. Outside of mika milatika ( soon to graduate ) the only one of these to even break 180k subs is hana maccia. Same pattern in niji en, some get big like millie, vox, sonny, pomu etc and the smaller ones just get put on lifesupport. Look up niisanji japan and look at their roster, it is sooo many of them and where are the projects?
Niji has alot of active vtuber talents so if we were to go by graduation percentage, Nijisanji is still on par with how much other corpos graduate their own talents

It's just logical. They hire much more talents than for example Hololive, so they will also have to "let people go" more often than others. That's also the reason why they put less ressources and effort into their talents once they've debuted. Or in other words: They have a higher turnover rate than other corporations.

That's for 2024 not 2023. 2023 the last graduations are Mika and aiba. 2024 have 3 graduations scheduled announced on this year. That said, they aren't even close to have the most graduations because agencies closed like akioair or aurora who had more than 20 and 40 vtubers leaving or the agency losing them because of agency drama

Seeing their clips a few years ago was unlike how I felt watching Holo, their style felt like I was watching the TH-camrs I grew up enjoying. That's for 2024 not 2023. 2023 the last graduations are Mika and aiba. 2024 have 3 graduations scheduled announced on this year. That said, they aren't even close to have the most graduations because agencies closed like akioair or aurora who had more than 20 and 40 vtubers leaving or the agency losing them because of agency drama

I've never really got into Nijisanji all that much, but I've been quite a fan of the earlier generations. Seeing their clips a few years ago was unlike how I felt watching Holo, their style felt like I was watching the TH-camrs I grew up enjoying. I would find myself laughing at Nijisanji clips more so than Holo clips lol

This ain't niji fault this time. 5 years is a long time and it's reasonable and understandable for many people in various jobs would like the change careers/companies not necessarily because their companies are terrible, it can be something like new excitment, new challenges, and new environments.
