I am a sighted person and you are absolutely a role model for me. Your words resonate in me and being scared and feeling vulnerable is not normally "admitted" You are a true testament to being brave.
my vision has been getting progressively worse since i was six, and though i'm not generally one to admit it, this sort of thing has always scared me, especially in recent years after my doctor has said it shouldn't get any worse, but then it has. Lucy is such an inspiration to me- such a positive person. she really helps mw believe that even if that sort of thing happens to me i can still be myself. :)
i just wanted to say Lucy's so strong and she's been such as inspiration to me while i've been losing my hearing. i owe her so much, it's really helped me to know that she's successful, happy and living her life to the fullest while blind. losing my sight has become a big fear of mine, especially now that my hearing is failing me and it's the only way i can experience the world. she's so brave and for a while, was my only hope. i'm only one of the people she's helped, but i know there's so many more people like me who've been inspired by her. ♥️

My sister was born deaf..that is one thing but when she was super young she was one of the very first people that got coqulare(sorry for the spelling) implants in Canada, they failed sadly..but still to this day she will tell all of my brothers and sisters and mom that she still remembers to this day when she first heard us say I love you. It makes me tear up still, but knowing that she has overcome so much is heart warming. You are heart warming Lucy.❤💛❤ keep it all up, and bless you and your.
