Did anyone else notice that on Taylor's drum it had "Charlie RIP" written on it? This was in Oct.21. Who would have thought that a mere 5 months later we would be saying the same about Taylor and other drummers would be paying tribute to him the same way? Damn. 🇺🇸🙏✌🦋☘🇺🇸
So badass. Dave Grohl just fucking loves music, and it comes across. And despite all the Bee Gees jokes over the years, particularly in the disco era, they were incredible songwriters and performers. Awesome. Thanks, Dave.
@@JosuaZ. I don’t remember any of them but grew up through they era as a teen, including through the “disco sucks” movement started, The Bee Gees somehow became the biggest targets as example of “who sucks” . At the time I didn’t really question it or take a side because I liked disco and adored SNFS, and also liked their music I’d heard prior to the STFS. Now I adore them. One of my top few musical groups of all time, especially if you include the songs they wrote for others. Maybe #1 for me, depending on the day.
I was lucky enough to see the Bee Gees live in 97 at the old Wembley Stadium, and after all these years it’s still in my top five live shows. But I am absolutely gutted never to have seen Foo Fighters. I’m hanging on to the hope that that dream will come true one day, but to state the obvious it will never be the same again without Taylor 😔

Best thing I’ve found on TH-cam in a LONG time!! And love to Taylor Hawkins for paying respect to Charlie Watts of The Rolling Stones. RIP to both Charlie and Taylor. 💕
Awww yeah! Love the BeeGees!!! I haven't seen the Foo Fighters for nearly 30 years! But so awesome seeing them in their early years. A fan forever! Rest in peace sweet angel Taylor Hawkins 💜💜💜
So much going on here. As others have noticed the RIP Charlie Watts tribute by Taylor only to have him gone months later. But think about the irony of this song coming out in the late 70's, when Pat Smear was the guitarist for the seminal LA punk group the Germs. And then Dave Grohl, right, Nirvana/Foos pulling this altogether. At the end of the day, it just comes down to Dave Grohl being one of the coolest dudes ever and this being a friggin great song!
Wonder how long it will be that I won't end up crying when I watch my favorite ALL time bad together like this? It's been a harsh reality for this Foo Fan. Bless you Dave. You goof. : (
This isn't something I ever thought I'd see, but after The Foo Fighters performed Never Gonna Give You Up with Rick Astley, I guess it always more likely.
I get your Bee Gees comment. When the Bee Gees came out with the disco sound it was certainly a unique sound and everything but it was just played over and over and over again that you actually kind of got sick of it. Which doesn’t mean it wasn’t good but disco became such an insane phenomenon that everybody tried to jump on the bandwagon and sell some of the stupidest songs ever like disco duck, so unfortunately for the Bee Gees they got lumped into all that eventually. There’s a great documentary on the Bee Gees on HBO you might want to take a look at.
Glad they did this at Geelong before we all lost T...... Geelong will always be the best ever gig I went to taking my daughter for her first ever FF gig thanks to the Fellas coming to Geelong stadium and off course Mushroom to give Melbourne live a treat after our boarders opened .............................Thanks Dave and fellas a night we will never forget. xo

Taylor pays homage to Charlie Whatts on his drums and to think it would be him in 5 months time, just unimaginable.

seeing Taylor playing and paying tribute to Charlie Watts is just heartbreaking in retrospect.

Effing legends! So much fun and joy going on here.
This song is simply phenomenal and the Foo's did a great job on it! The BeeGees were truly incredible!
Great song. Great energy and dancing. Love it all and the original too.

Do you think Pat Smear ever thought he would be covering the Bee Gees when he was playing with The Germs?

Charlie Rip....on Taylor's drums.
Who would have known...😓
Absolutely brilliant!
This isn't something I ever thought I'd see, but after The Foo Fighters performed Never Gonna Give You Up with Rick Astley, I guess it always more likely.
Glad they paid homage to the Bee Gees but it just goes to show you no one can perform Bee Gees songs like the Bee Gees. They are still the best ever
Aww, this is Great takes me back to my 70’s!! Wasn’t a big Bee Gee fan but I’m a great 70’s fan. Love it.

Soundtrack of my 6th grade life. Fantastic band that goes way back . Glad to see the respect from one of my other most favorist bands. Xo
The band was TIGHT on this cover, and I admit, I really liked the cute little way Dave humped his guitar!

No, no, no, no, no! They'll be doing Agadoo or Shaddapa Ya Face next. It's just wrong. In fact, in the North of England it's illegal.
Only The Bee Gees song like the Bee Gees. Taylor's drumming saves this, it's phenomenal!
Dance!
Thanks for the video.i was there but I love replaying this over and over
