This video was It's funny that I find this video now, 7 years after it's publication, 4+1/2 years after I went 100% FAoff, still worth a watch even after all this time, so have an upvote..
Your videos have inspired me to pick up a Cobra M5 to partner with my Saitek Cyborg Evo to give dual stick FA off a serious go. I look forward to the rest of this series of videos.

I too do dual stick. I also use Tflight pedals
I use thrustmaster t16000 on the lelft hand, controlling elevator and strafe thrusters and yaw. I use the rudder pedals for forward and backwards throttle., pressing down on the right one deploys landing gear, pressing the left one down deploys cargo scoop. I still dont know why people set these to yaw in elite, when pedals more benefit from throttle usage.
Would you mind explaining or suggesting sensitivity or dead zones estimates for FA-Off? I've been trying to use flight assist for a while now and I can't quite figure out if it's better to have very sensitive joystick setting that barely require any movement for a big input or insensitive joystick setting for bigger joystick movements for little input.
My main problem is over correcting and "remembering" or realizing what my current direction and speed vector is after a maneuver. I wish we had some UI element to clearly display that.

is it confirmed blue zone helps with fa off ? if so is it still as beneficial as with fa on?
i know this doesnt belog here but every time i try to get out of supercruise or into supercruise i have this bug where the countdown gets stuck at 0 and i keep the speed im flying at. if anyone could help me that would be great ^^ ive restarted my pc and the game several times and i cant seem to fiix it, while there is no help in the forums eighter
It's a known bug that occurs with lower end GPUs, just wait a while and it should work. It gets worse in open play as well; it adds server communication to the mess your pc is already trying to deal with.

Can you link the LHS stick pls? The right looks like the HOTAS but what is the left stick?
