Don't you miss the days when an 'All-American' name like an Unser was known for street and road course mastery, but difficulty on ovals? If he'd driven for a team like McLaren or Williams, I believe Al, Jr. could've challenged for an F1 world championship.
I love how the only commercial is all the previous champs looking all dapper and such. Totally different from today. Also, I wish the ps4 had indycar game. Love the 80s 90s indycar
Rick Mears, Al Usher Jr & The Andrettis were talented in IndyCar series back in 90s its awesome to these classics races .Porsche in Indy Series don't see that too often.
Sam Posey with his usual inane commentary. Uncle Bobby wasn't the most polished but he could tell a story and talk about driving a racing car. Paul Page always did a great job of asking Bobby leading questions to get the best out of him. The only thing Posey ever adds to these races is the occasional funny moment where you can tell Bobby is just done with him.
Not true in racing. Firestone came back IndyCar in 1995, nearly winning the Indy 500 with Scott Goodyear (😄), and becoming the dominant tyre brand in 1996. By 1999 Goodyear were struggling to keep up, and bowed out at the end of the millennium. Firestone have been the exclusive supplier ever since, and have not had issues. The teams and drivers almost unanimously agree (how often does that happen?) that Firestone should remain. Look at Goodyear's problems in stock car racing (many, many inexplicable blowouts) while being the exclusive supplier, and you'll have a different opinion about Goodyear.
I love the fonts ABC used back in the early 90s...just awesome...nostalgic
I love how at 11 minutes they talk about Luyendyk having never won a race. He'd do it in the biggest way possible just a month later! :)

Sam Posey calls Ribbs the angry black man, and Page calls Hiro oriental. classic
I miss the old Long Beach layout.
The modern layout looks ok to me
Do you have the 1990 Vancouver race?
90s Indy CART was the best
Old layout? Hmmm...
2:43 race start
Why did Indy Series switch Goodyear Tires to Firestone some resources say Firestone/Bridgestone aren't reliable tires to use
