So glad to see the recovery. Soooo many vids on YT show Discus hyperventilating. Your's weren't. Peace from the UK.
Wow! The fish are looking great. Is That a spawn I see in the back corner of the wood?
Beautiful work of Art !
So glad you got a handle on it.
Thank you!
Really enjoying your videos . Still considering whether I should get discus or not .
👍
i have a question: i have a heavily planted tank my discus fish hide all the times behind the plants, they hardly swim around. is it normal behaviour for discus to hide behind the plants when they are in heavily planted tanks?
Yes and no. Planted tanks usually use dark substrate. This can and usually does stimulate your Discus to camouflage for safety. This can become a habit and also interupt the natural pecking order. This creates a cycle where the pecking order never gets worked out. How old are your Discus and what colors are they?
@@aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto thank you very much for your reply ,my discus are juvies about 6 months,i have a blue turquoise one and the rest are yellow and red checker board
@@blueXcss how heavily planted is this tank?
@@aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto i would say about 70% of the tank planted with bushes of java fern and some water Wisteria
@@blueXcss you may want to thin that out a bit to change the behavior.
