Picked up a Slayer Propel 10 yesterday after I saw that a guy was selling one for a good price. Took it out the same day and ended up catching my biggest bass of the year and largest frog bass ever at 5.47lbs. Video will be posted on my channel later this week. Hey just out of curiosity what reels and rods do you use? I am especially interested in the reels. I have a brand new Lews Pro Ti reel never used & still in the box, so I am going to sell it so I can get 2 reels to add to my arsenal.

Last year at Guntersville around dark I was fishing a frog on a little edge of grass mat. I threw my frog out and didn’t get a bite and left it sitting in the water by my boat before recasting to turn around and turn on my 360 light. The second I turned back around and pulled the frog up to recast a 5lber slammed it. I almost had a heart attack I’ve never been startled so hard fishing in my life. I caught the fish it was wild because I had a 5lber on with maybe two foot of line out. Your popper bite reminded me of it.
Been watching your videos for months now, motivated me to finally got myself a kayak and hopefully I’ll be fishing my first tournament soon! Really enjoy the content.
Way to end the day on a high note with that top water action. Love that yammie shad shape worm. Did very well with it at Berry and Comanche at the beginning of this year. Wtg! And as always we appreciate the vids. Tight Lines!
Get some 3-inch Berkley Powerbait Minnows or similar bait. Put them on a 1/8 oz jig with a size #1 or #2 hook. Cast and slowly swim back while giving light shakes and an occasional light pop. I think you will like the results.

To everybody not from CA. The water is not low because of the lack of rain. It's a regular practice in water management to let water our the reservoir every summer.

Not sure if u know this but when u r measuring your fish on your board and the bass has its tail up, rub his eyeball and his tail will relax and go down. Just keep stroking it till it does. It works

Hey Greg, I think you should visit San Pablo reservoir during spawning season. I seen a lot of big spots getting caught there along with Largies. Next year!

yo greg I fish that place all the time when they are keyed in on shad like that the best thing to do is chuck a lv500 until your arm falls off especially in the morning 👌🏽
You need to leave all other baits and only bring your big swimbaits if your trying to get one on your 250 just have to commit to the bait if you bring the rest of your tackle it’s going to continue to happen,switching to your other gear.i was like you until I listen to my friends advice and got my Pb which ain’t all that big just 5.5 lb but since I’m a newbie I finally understood what he was talking about.

Man rocky area, shad jumping everywhere, Falcon Lake here is like that and I can always depend on cranking squarebills and ESPECIALLY my Storm Arashi lipless, you should try one out, blue/chrome always works as long as its not chocolate milk.
