I flew into Minsk at the beginning of October and was on one of the only two flights arriving on that day. I was eligible for a 30-day visa-free as long as I entered and exited the country through Minsk International Airport. I booked a $19 room in a shared apartment with a window overlooking the train passed by. Through my solo travel, I hope to showcase the other side of Belarus.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and TH-cam creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on TH-cam, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on TH-cam.

I lived in Belarus for 6 years! Minsk is a beautiful and wonderful city with wonderful people. I consider Belarus as my second home country, simply love it. Thank you for showing it !!

Was feeling nostalgic when I saw your video. You presented Minsk in a wonderful way. Truly, it is a beautiful city, with a beautiful people. Love how you went to the main places but also many other out of the way areas, like the Children's park! Minsk is soooo clean, every hour there is a team of street cleaners scrubbing the roads. So many fascinating things to find in an incredible 900 year old city!

Интеллигентный, но не очень. Подрастающее и подросшее поколение это "очень" искореняют наглым поведением, девушки как одна ругаются матом, ребята ищут легкой наживы. Утеряны чувства патриотизма и это признак потери адекватного отношения внутри страны. Слава Богу, они ни есть 100% беларусов, пытающихся сохранить культуру поведения и не вестись на провакационные выбросы этих "не очень".

Thanks for the video! :D I was born in Minsk. I've lived there for about 6 years before we (my mother and I) left it for Germany. Simply because of the better perspectives for me. My grandma and my uncle still lives there! I miss them everyday!😓 the last time, I was there..was 2019 for a week. Because I couldn't stay any longer there as a tourist. I have no idea why exactly. But I hope next year I can visit my granny and uncle again.😇

I would never have known Belarus if not for your vlog. Minsk is such a beautiful city. The buildings are so classical, the roads are wide and streets not crowded. Its a pity the eating place at the supermarket was close as I would love to see some typical Belarus food on display...I loved food!! Can't wait to see your next vlog.
