Thank you so much for watching! If you're interested in an amazing adventure travel opportunity, I'm hosting my first ever group tour to Pakistan in 2024. There's an discount for those who sign up in December, so take a look here if it sounds like something you'd like to be involved with www.syifaadriana.com/tours/pakistan-2024 :)
Singapore feels so calm and slow through your eyes. Thank you for sharing this possibility with locals and visitors alike when they experience this beautiful city that is also my beloved country. Thank you Syifa and Dave 🥰
Aw thank you babe. So lovely to have you commented on this one. Our next video is still in the works and can't wait for you to watch yourself in this one 😂 Missing hanging our with you already! 💕
Singapore from the POV( Point of view) of Syifa and her husband - that looks less urbanized and more green and spacious. Special thanks for showing the last remaining village of Singapore that I hadn't heard of before.
I lived in Singapore for a couple of years. It can be expensive or cheap; hawker centers are the place to eat to keep in budget! I decided not to stay in Singapore as it just felt too crowded and work was quite stressful; the other side of Singapore? Happily living in NE Thailand in my country village house these days. Nice to see Syifa in love spending time with her husband rather than solo travelling!
I agree with you. Hawker centres are the quintessential for Singaporean. I wish the UK has something similar haha! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. I once traveled around Mae Hong Son Loop in 2016 but not quite sure if I ever travelled to NE Thailand.
So crazy about the fort canning, I went there a few years ago before covid and it wasn't crowded at all. There was no queue required to take the photo.
As a new mom and married person now, I enjoy watching you both travel together. Thanks for showing us that Singapore can be affordable. My husband and I wanted to go to Singapore for his sabbatical, but we were unsure if it was even affordable.
Thank you so much! How lovely to hear this feedback and comment from you. We just got back from our 5 month Asia trip, so you will us in the upcoming videos 😊When is your husband sabbatical? Congratulations on becoming a new Mum!
It's great getting the priority getting your travel updates upon joining patreon anyway, delighted to see your beloved hubby,Dave joining you in Singapore.looking forward to meet both of you when I visit Qatar and U.K following year till then, blessings and happy travel!❤😂😂🎉
It’s definitely not more expensive than most cities in USA or Europe. You can easily get a local coffee for 1.3 SGD (US$ 1.00) or a meal for 5.00 SGD (US$ 3.80) in Singapore. Transiting around via MRT between 1.50 SGD ( US$ 1.10) and 2.50 SGD ( US$ 1.90) per journey.
Needs an Oxford Comma Sy. Returning to Singapore, with your husband of 7 years. Or returning to Singapore after 7 years, with your husband. The Panda came in, eats shoots and leaves. Hawkers Markets in Singapore have some of best street food in the world, and so reasonably priced.
Thanks a lot for your comment! I agree that that the Hawker markets have some of the best street food yet at a very affordable price and extreme level of hygiene! I love it.
What are expensive in Singapore. 1. Tourists attractions, eateries, hotels. 2. Rent. 3. Housings. 4. Cigarettes & liquor. 5. Cars prices & car parking. 6. Orchard Rd tourist areas shopping, food, etc. 7. Universities. 8. Expensive medical bills for non locals. Not cheap for locals either. Our hospital looks like clusters of 5-star hotels in many areas..imagine. 😳 What is reasonably to pay: a. MRT metro transport. b. Local buses transport. c. Local hawkers centres (food) d. Local coffee shops food. e. Local shopping centers. f. NTUC supermarkets. Singapore is still not the most expensive city in the world.
Glad to see you back with another travel. Keep it up to entertain us. And you look great and nice in a dress compared to the easy going attire in those other countries in the outskirts.
Wow! Thanks a lot for this entirely different angle of Singapore. It had been informative. I've had never watched any travelogue of Singapore like this one. It was interesting. Price-wise, I guess strolling around in Singapore as a tourist is way more expensive than in the USA or in Europe... Yes, it is a humid climate but that is exactly what makes those landscapes versatile, attractive and rich in biodiversity. Of course, humidity penetrates your bones and can cause severe rheumatoid. It was wonderful to watch the authentic Singapore Village before the urbanisation kicked off. Very simple and fascinating. Most likely if the cost of living is expensive, the monthly salary must be higher as well.
Should look at Peranakan foods which is similar to Indonesian Peranakan around Peranakan museum in Singapore. Similarly with Chinese foods in Singapore which has different background ethnicities e.g. Tio Chew, Cantonese and Hakka.
Next time if you want a historic walk with greenery you could try the Bukit Brown cemetery. One of the most beautiful and tranquil spots in Singapore. A different world
This has become easily my favorite travelogue channel. Although you're personally charming and physically beautiful as well, what really sets you apart is that you're clearly _motivated_ by something. What it is I'm not sure, but it makes me think of the first page of _Moby Dick_ .
Thank you so much! Your comment resonates deeply with me. What a beautiful way to say this to someone you have never met. I love the fact that you refer the first page of Moby Dick. I'll read it as a good sense of reflection this week. Thank you!
to explore more of less urban, you can try the catchment area of reservoir area - when you go to the zoo area, you feel like you are in a different city because you dont have the backdrop of buildings but all urban and reservoir and river.
I watched this as I was curious to see what is featured about your neighbour :). Interesting to see the butter being added to the coffee - this is new to me. Also Arab Street's first arrivals came form south Yemen, I missed this in my reading. Thanks for highlighting!
Yeah it was also very new to us! Butter coffee was an interesting experience but a must try. Thank you so much for your kind comment. Hope you enjoy watching this video.
Singapore is multicultural...some of the views there remind me of Malaysia we visited in 2016...We have seen rainforests and may God protect all forms of life ...
Instead of buying Greek yogurt and granola for your breakfasts you should have just gone to nearby coffeeshop or hawker centre to explore more of the local food😂
Travelling the world has always been my childhood dream at 25 I lost most of my eyesight due to a problem in my retina watching videos like this motivates me, I wanna live my dreams and be an inspiration through my channel 💙💙
I am so so so deeply sorry to hear that. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. I truly appreciate it :-) I hope you will still be able to take short trips here and there.
Singapore is not just the most expensive city in Asia, also one of the most expensive city-state in the world and second or third the richest in the world, after Monaco,Lichtenstain and Luxembourg.
Hello good morning. It's the first time I saw your vlog last night. I watched it until I fell asleep! Good luck on your channel. And please be careful traveling alone 😊
Hi Syifa, thank you very much to show us Singapore in a different way - not only the skyscrapers. Anyway, you are always looking more smart & cute when accompanying your husband 🥰 Best wishes for the lovely couple 💕🥰
Hahahaha… 3:15 Your face SCREAMS out loud “this is weiiird”, but next second you say “it’s not... weird” :-):-):-). Ok, going back to watching the rest of the video. I love Singapore, probably more than what I should(…). (aaand) The end. As always, so well-shot, well-edited, plus the music chosen makes watching the video even more… relaxing :-), mellower. Looking forward to the next video!
Hahaha Diba that's funny to read this. Yes I wasn't so sure whether I would like the butter coffee hence my weird expression 😂 Thank you so much for your kind comment. Thanks to my husband as he edited this video 😁

Thank you so much, Toni!

foods in Singapore are not expensive generally, what makes Singapore one of the most expensive cities are accommodations, car prices, rentals etc.
Yeah I really like the fact that you can get a good fresh meal at such an affordable price.
I agree with you, Becky!@@Beck-dz5mj
Welcome back! Very different from the usual posts cos I’m used to seeing you roughing it out on your solo trips..this is quite a surprise change! 😮
Thank you so much, Edwin! I'll take it as a compliment :-)
