the thing with ball joints is that if you use one in the sholders or hips you don't need a thigh or bicep swivel, so jolt doesn't need them. it's a bit different if parts of the sockets get in the way and I can't comment yet because I don't have the figure yet but great video anyway. also happy birthday.
Felt pretty lukewarm about legacy hotshot. Pinned painted wheels would have made him much better. Even Knockout got that much. Bot mode though is a pretty good update, and proportions a lot better than the original toy. While I have the original and Powerlinx variant the updated one is a nice accessories pack. Really like the guns, and blast effects packaged with him. Jolt is on point as the transformation is identical. the orange though was a lot more vibrant than it is here. Also Jolt was originally yellow with this Armada variant.
I think that it really is only worth the price if you’re an Armada fan, I am one so this set was awesome to get despite having his wave one original. Cool to finally get Jolt too, a guy we wanted for awhile!
Nice review. Just recently got mine on clearance at Pulse. So, not full price. And I agree. Overpriced. For me though it’s Hot Shot himself. He just feel like thin, cheap plastic. But I believe that Jolt, guns, and effects were the icing for me. Modest fan of the character and show. More G1 myself
Happy late birthday, I don’t think I committed yesterday but if I did I guess I’m saying it again Also we think we know we’re getting a armada wheeljack based off of sg sideswipe and the box art for hot shot has thrust so well get them probably this year, maybe as a two pack? Amazons main subline has been idw with wreckers the last two years for legacy and we got jolt and hot shot as a two pack so I guess it may be a 3 pack with a minicon that’s a repaint of whisper

There's not much play in the ball for a swivel
