This took so long to make, the desk changed... I also had 2 haircuts in that time 😂 www.instant-gaming.com/?igr=ADHDecent Thank you to any who use my affiliate link for Instant Gaming
Thanks for the video ! Been waiting on it. I've played and modded skyrim for over 5 years by now, but I just got back at it and your guides are the best I've found.
In a few years time a majority of the skyrim modding community will probably be comprised of people who began their journey watching your videos. You are doing great work mate.
Probably the most comprehensive guide on YT for modding Skyrim combat in 2024. Thank you for sharing what was a time intensive vid to make, and so good to see you back.
Amazing work and so well researched! The effort behind the scenes is obvious in the details, but not obvious in the length. A lot of people might turn this into a 4 hour series but you made it highly digestible, actionable, and usable. Thanks for the amazing guide & I have to say, I love the office there in the keep! BEST Combat Guide for SKYRIM SE!
Thank you so much!! I'm incredibly grateful to you. A key point for me is not dragging it out and this was hard to condense. To know it's appreciated means everything to me. I'm honored. Glad you like the office! I really enjoyed a little DIY time to make it interesting! :)
Its already been said by others but ill say it again. This is the best guide ever and you're an absolute legend for making it. Just took the leap from Xbox Modding to PC and oh by its different, better in every way though. Thanks to this guide I'm taking my first steps into understanding PC Skyrim Modding and opening a new love for this game again. THANK YOU for your time and hard work. You are appreciated and improve many other's lives. You're the best!
Honestly this is so incredibly motivating to hear. Thank you so much for your kind words and support. It means everything to me and I appreciate you immensely for that. It's an honor. Really happy I am able to help you with your modding journey!!
Man, after your video explaining your injury I thought this might have been put on hold. Glad you managed to get it out there. Excellent work as always.
I really appreciate that thank you man. It should have been to be honest but I just couldn't rest until it was out. I feel so much better mentally now it's finished and released. The idea of delaying any longer was getting to me. Although I am being told off by everyone for not resting haha
Yeayeayea! Great stuff, going into detail about what we're actually installing is absolutely essential imo. Knowing what the mods do, even if just the plain basics, helps people understand how they affect other mods and could help possible independent troubleshooting in the future. Keep it coming mate! :)
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. I really appreciate it and I'm so glad you have enjoyed the journey! I look forward to covering more areas in future likely as standalone videos :)
just finished getting this together, banging job my dude. was really trying to figure out how to use open animation replacer and im glad i watched this. all my animations are squared away, time to just add some more mods to the mix and start playing. good job and im glad youre back!
Thank you so much mate I'm honored. I can't begin to say how nervous I was for this one so it's amazing to hear it's well received. Really appreciate you. ❤️
Your tutorials finally made me switch from Vortex to MO2 and from Oldrim to Special Edition. I tried modding SE many times before but I was never able to make the game run without CTDs every 4 seconds. I'm looking forward to starting my playthrough this weekend, haven't been this excited to play skyrim since the game came out. Thanks for the excelent tutorials.
I'm so grateful to you for this! Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. Means the world and I'm so glad I'm able to help bring Skyrim to life again for you!
Ive never been the guy that comments on videos. Im a like and/or subscribe and move on type dude. But, i feel i need to make it known that you are alone at the top of the mountian of instructional and easy to follow walkthroughs of modding. Legit dude its much appreciated. Youve already earned what your channel will no doubt become. 🤙
Wonderful series. You're so underrated. This is the Best modding guide on TH-cam. Can you please make a vid on Wabbajack about how to compile/create our own modlist, what are the requirements and proper methods.?
I am incredibly grateful to you thank you so much for the support. So glad I was able to deliver! You're right it has been somewhat eventful recently! Appreciate you
Finally had time to sit down and give this one a second go. Fantastic guide. I feel like I finally have a foundation done to start building my own mod list on top of thank you!
A week back moved from Nemesis to Pandora. (Everything you can do i can do better). Nemesis was ctd-ing few times in a row after 12-13 000 animations, took forever to generate (on i9 13kf). Pandora (for now) didn't crash once, and takes 2-5 sec to generate. Thanks for the great series. (A bit outdated at some points but still great) Keep up the great work!👍 Ps, can you pls show your full updated mod order in MO2.
@@PlasmaPhoton-kt6jr For now yes. No crashes, ALL my animations generated, some of them i already tested. Some not yet, but overall i am happy with it. And install is really easy, just deleted FNIS and Nemesis from LO, and their output mods, and installed Pandora. (I am using MO2 btw)
Just finished up this guide and planning to add my personal touch on it but before that, I guess its time for a perfect brew, cheers on the video mate!
What an amazing video! I'm always impressed by how good you are when you make instructions You're one of the best Skyrim Modding youtubers out there I wish you the best and that your channel gets bigger, your content gets better and your revenue gets higher!
I am truly honored. Thank you so much for your motivation. It really means the world to me! I am forever grateful to you. It's a pleasure to share the journey with you
Great quality as always! Are there plans on how to use OAR? Personally, I'm having trouble using it; for example, in how to solve animation conflicts. Also Immersive Equipment Displays seems to be challenging in how to use.
Have you done a tutorial about physics mods? player, NPC, clothing and weapons? I'm struggling to find a decent video about physics mods but they all seem to lack detail on explaining each mod
Physics mods are an area I'm trying to find a way to cover but it's not content that TH-cam are fond of which I've personally experienced in the past so I have to find an angle on that which will take time. Player, NPC, Clothing, Armor, Weapons, Expansions are all in the works amongst others.
It's definitely on my list to look into. If I can find a "family friendly" (by that I mean the youtube gods must approve) approach then I'll do that. If not, I may look at covering it on Patreon or something similar. Not sure yet but I'll work it out somehow! :D
@@ADHDecent Thanks, I'm almost through, this afternoon I'm going to MCI ingame. Another great explanation! I'm so excited to see how it all plays out in the game. However, I would have liked you to have been a bit more specific with the last step in Nemesis and listed what to tick and what not to tick. I hope I found the right mods in Nemesis and didn't tick the wrong ones.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this. While waiting, I undertook the combat overhaul process on my own and it was daunting and overwhelming, but I have everything working. It was good to be able to check what I have/did against this video though. Couple of things I missed so thanks again :) I do have a question though. Why not include Precision or Valhalla Combat? Add a lot of combat immersion and options, figured I'd just ask. Also, have you already or would you be willing to post your entire load order for all mods you have installed? I am trying to get a sense of where to put things, and even the mods in this series have moved here and there it seems. I understand my LO should likely not look 100% like yours, I'm just trying to get an idea.
I appreciate the support thank you. I'm going to make a video on my load order in the near future for reference with some extra bonus mods too. As for Precision & Stability: Gameplay. The aim for this guide was to improve upon the Skyrim mechanics and not to replace them with another game's if that makes sense. Anything that wasn't enkeeping with the tone of the original game wasn't included. As for Precision however, I spent hours trying to make it stable and couldn't at the time. This may have changed now I'm not sure. It worked, but all mods were only included if they were flawless with the exception of Dodge which I put to a poll on my community tab.
@@ADHDecent Ah I see that's fair. When you say Precision is unstable, how do you mean? I mean are you experiencing visible in-game issues or do you have some way to test the stability of the mod? I've been running it and haven't had any issues, but I am also just using a dummy save for now, so haven't been using it long. Do you have some kind of external tool or method that allows you to check stability of a mod?
superb guide!!! i'll try this next time.... have u consider to upload a guide for body slide, body type, and physic jiggle mod? thank you so much sirr for the guide!
You're very welcome! Ah yes to some extent I will be covering Bodyslide however to what end is yet to be decided as TH-cam are not fans of its usage and content
I just binged so many of your videos. You're doing amazing work. Can we get a guide to setup a gamepad or controller? I tried to use a mod that updates to a modern game standards, but there were so many options and requirements I got confused.
Appreciate it bro! I use a controller myself but I've never had any issues with it so I'm not sure how to go about a problem I don't have (if that makes sense) as I can't say if it's reliable as a mod or not :)
Welcome back again. Good to have you here again alive and kicking, dude. Great video. Just the ID part doesn't work for me I get an error and can;t look up the mods I have to do it manually. That's fine. I can hack it, takes just a little longer
Hello. Thanks so much to resume this modding serie. I hope you health is alright and i'm really glad you made it. Really. Brave man ! Concerning the video, it's really good. I just have an issue with Nemesis, since you don't really show us exactly what mod to select. I don't have the exact same list as you. And running the game, i see a lot of issues : flikering, and weird animations. Something went wrong... :( I have no idea how to debug this, i follow the guide exactly (but sometimes we have to improvise). Maybe you could, at the end of each video of your guide, show us your modlist with correct order so we can verify nothing changed. And maybe updating the Nemesis engine you can tell us what mods to select ? Thanks !
Hey Man, Dropped a comment earlier, just wanted to let you know. I've been running the Nolvus V5 mod pack on my Skyrim and it really hasn't been doing it for me. I have a pretty mid range PC I'll drop the specs at the end if you care but, just wanted to say that you've single handedly inspired me to start modding myself again. With a mid range PC it can't really handle huge mod lists like Nolvus and I want to have more freedom over my own mods and based on the sheer detail and simplicity of these guides I want to give modding myself another shot. Mod lists are cool for sure but it kind of limits you in a way where as you can have full freedom doing it yourself. I used to mod Skyrim and was pretty beginner level and still am and wanted to experience a massive mod list without my game breaking or having to make a mod list for one character and then reinstall everything for another character because of certain things breaking. Would usually get to around 100-250 mods in and it would feel stable but almost like I am missing some stuff, using your videos I plan on creating my own mod list focusing on vanilla+/with some spice to combat and overall focusing on Skyrim's main weaknesses like bugginess, shallow combat and repetitive questing. I also want to spec it for content as I have this channel and love Skyrim but yeh. (after 2500 hours and 7 years of playing it vanilla Skyrim is nice to go back to but damn I can only play like one character before I am burnt out) Anyways I guess what I'm getting at is I want to thank you for giving me the inspiration to go back and figure things out for my self and make everything work with my mid range pc (I do love my visual mods a little too much for this poor pc) speaking of the specs are GPU - 3060ti CPU R5 5600x RAM - 16GB DDR4 SSD - 1x1TB M.2NVME 1x500GBNVME You can imagine with that sort of space a 300GB+ mod list takes up an insane chunk along with footage for videos etc. Thank you man!!!
Expressing the importance of words and their impact isn't easy at the best of times. But you've brought a smile to my face and motivate me to continue. It truly is an honor and I thank you more than I'll be able to express here. I believe we should have the tools to learn to mod because half of the fun is in the building. Following a list skips that whilst not allowing personal customization. So I do love to hear I've been able to help with that. Also, my PC finally died out halfway through this video. But I was running a 1660ti / 16gb ddr4 @ 2133mhz and an intel i7-6700k on a z170 mb with an SSD and HDD.. I wouldn't go too hard on your specs they're certainly more than capable of handling a fair bit there ;-) keep your PC debloated and minimise background activity and you'll be able to do alot i believe:)
@@ADHDecent damn how long you been running with that PC. And yes fully agree with the customisation. Glad i motivated you a little more. You truly are on point with the education regarding skyrim and modding. All the best man!
Did you look at Precision - Accurate Melee Collision when testing this pack at all? I remember using it the last time I went on a modding spree and it was pretty nice, felt pretty good and in-universe.
For the life of me I cannot get the dodge to work. I followed exactly. Any troubleshooting tips? Edit: Don't forget to enable the check box in Nemesis boys.
@@ADHDecent I think a Simonrim overhaul might fit the vibe of this series better than Ordinator, but that's just me. It's what I'm attempting to incorporate into this list anyhow.
Great guide for modernizing Skyrim's animations!. However, I don't think Skyrim Project Optimization has anything to do with file reading or animations though. It adds occlusion planes to interiors to help fps and requires lots of patches if you run other mods that change interiors. Most people don't have insane fps drops in interiors so its probably not needed as a framework but other than that amazing work!
This is a really interesting point and if I'm honest I'm struggling to remember exactly how I came to said conclusion as it's been so long now. I believe from what I can remember, it's to do with the Frame Rate losses that could potentially take place at a critical time for Animation execution resulting in a bug or freeze of the character. This is based on it being a dependency for numerous Animation Mods. Perhaps, I condensed information to make it a quicker explanation but removed the important parts leaving something out of context, but I'm confused as to what I have done there now! I feel somewhat disappointed with myself here as I fear it could damage my integrity and reliability with it being literally the first mod shown! I invested hundreds of hours in researching alone to ensure I didn't misinform so yeah I'm gutted a bit! I do appreciate you bringing this to my attention though. 4 months watching the same 30 minutes over and over again has made me numb to the context now! aha
@@ADHDecent No worries! You did a great job and I can't imagine how exhausting creating a video like this can be. There's a reason most people just download a wabbajack list and call it a day instead of doing it themselves. Based on your description of what Skyrim Project Optimization does, the only mod I can think of that optimizes file loading is Private Profile Redirector which stores INI files into memory, therefore speeding up start times but thats essentially all it does. It doesn't necessarily affect animations. The only other mod I can think that affects animation start times and is a requirement for a lot of modern animation mods is Animation Queue Fix which you already have in the list so thats good!
Nemesis used to work, I knew I shouldn't have deleted the nemesis output folder on the start. I encountered the same issue I had before when doing this tutorial. Nemesis simply won't launch. I can run Nemesis and could successfully press Update Engine. However, pressing Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine would result in the message, "Checking engine version Changes in file detected. Engine update is required to be performed." An endless loop.
Absolutely. It will be used going forward but due to the progression and stage of The Complete Guide, revising the engine used would mean we go back not forward with it all so I decided to stick with it this time around. I'm looking to cover it soon separately though as it's incredibly promising
Whoo, it's here! Welcome back Also, suggestions for future video; show some of the cool, smaller features of MO2, like, how to backup your setup. That way, if your 400+ mod list you just got working suddenly got resorted alphabetically because your PC lost power while installing that one last mod and you had to rearrange everything by hand again from memory . . . Well avoiding that sounds like a great thing. It sure would be terrible to discover MO2 backups exist *after* that happened. ;_;
@@ADHDecent Possibly worth expanding that to cover the game version and how SKSE, Address Lib, LOOT, etc (that are the bedrock of modding) are only supporting the latest version of the game (v1.6.1170) and what to worry and not worry about. I've just gone through my mod list from v1.6.640 and have 181 mods with dll script extender plugins. Of that 27 mods don't use Address Lib and out of them only 1 has not been updated to the latest game version. There are also a few OAR plugin mods that haven't been updated, but I hope will work as they require OAR which uses Address Lib.
Not sure what you mean here sorry. But these mods do support the different versions of the game. You just need the different versions of the mods to work with them. This guide uses the most up to date version so naturally we want the most recent mod versions too
alrigtht thank you once more for theis awesome guide, now I'm stuck with the greatsword animations not working. Like, I can use EVERY other animation except attack animations. Edit: It is with a heavy heart, that I had to retire Nemeis, after years of service, with my current setup it would not play my attack animations. Pandora is the future, fixed the issues.
Thanks for all the effort you've made with this combat guide. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it right. I've tried now 3 times to install all the mods you've showed. Skyrim won't start afterwards
Suggestion: Please, mister, your guide is amazing so far. But please, and I beg, keep the original names of mods you install as they are. For example, in minute 22:36, it would be better to keep these installed mods as their original untouched name and then showcase their same positions with organized names. The reason is simply to avoid wasting 4 hours from the watcher's time of confused placements. Still is a great guide, but that would be appreciated.
I tried. I'll have to come back to this. I followed the guide but had issues with a couple of the animations. OAR anims seem to fire off, the combat ones had some weird behaviours though (I know they're different to OAR)
I have finally figured out my problem with Nemesis not working. My problem: After installing all mods in the video perfectly and stopping at this point, 22:41 in the video. If I got to Nemesis and pressed Update Engine. Everything works out perfectly. However, the problem begins when I press Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine. Nemesis outputs, "Checking engine version Changes in file detected. Engine update is required to be performed." Basically an endless loop. The suspects in question were the two mods that we need to install from the distaranimation website. Specifically, "Attack - MCO|DXP" and "Dodge - MCO|DXP." The solution to this problem is unchecking both of these mods on the left tab, Nemesis would launch perfectly. I hope ADHDecent or anyone figures out a workaround this issue. Nobody talked about this solution.
Just tested this and it's fully working. At a guess either a mod or Nemesis is out of date or missing completely. Or you're using a different game version than 1.6.1170
@ADHDecent I am using Nemesis version v.0.84-beta, which is the most recent release. I have Skyrim Special Edition and going to the SkyrimSE.exe properties inside details tab it says File version and Product version is 1.6.1170.0
@ADHDecent Could the issue be that I have MO2 Stored data that has all the mods is in my desktop? If so, could you direct me to a guide to switch it to a different hard drive like E cause I have different ones instead of C drive.
It was tested and working a few days ago so this would be incredibly unfortunate if so. Of course, it's a required mod for others in the list anyway hence it's inclusion and requires additional configuration for optimal play
And now that you've done a video on this you can do an animation overhaul yet again using Pandora instead of Nemesis and BFCO instead of MCO. Ah how things are ever changing in the modding community. My condolances on the extra work. I do hope your recovery is going well though.
Hello :) I have to say my game is kinda broken, even if i followed exactly everything you did. My character has some major animations issues and the game is blinking... :( I finally remarked that my mods on the Nemesis engine are not the same as you. Could you maybe show us exactly which one to tick and explain why we don't have the same ? thanks.
Great video. Welcome back. I always messed something up when installing the animations and had to do a clean install of the game. This video definitely helped. I have a question. Do these mods also include spell and sword (battlemage) combination animations or not? If so, what mods would be compatible? Thank you in advance for your reply.
I appreciate your support thank you. There will be some but mostly idling as far as I'm aware. There may be more options available for this area on Nexus
@@ADHDecent So I finished installing the animations and it livened up the game a lot. Thank you again. I can't wait for the next part. I have one more question if I may? Vanargand Idle Animation works on NPCs but my character doesn't use it. I suspect Organic Player Animations is causing this. If possible, can it be fixed directly in the game using OAR and how, or do I have to get a fix ? Sorry for so many questions
Can anyone verify that this video applies to the GOG version as well? I've followed along with the whole guide up to this point, making sure to download files specific to the GOG version when it comes up and everything seems to still work as intended so far. I do really want to follow this vid as well but being as it's the longest one in the playlist so far, and ADHD was a bit unsure in the beginning bit if the GOG version is still good to use here, I just want to make sure I don't end up wasting hours modding for nothing and potentially screwing something else up that actually did work before.
Hi there! Amazing guide, thank you so much! Which 1h sword animation is being used at 15:05? Love the fluidity and natural grounded feel of it! much better than vanilla!
@@ADHDecent when i first launched Nem Attack MCO want on the list. It is now thankfully. only thing I cant get working is the dodge function. Edit: Only thing I cant get to work is the dodge
I've been following this guide from the beginning and it's worked beautifully so far, unfortunately, after installing all mods and doing as you instructed from this vid, the game now refuses to load through SKSE. All I get is this error message: REL/relocation.h(1101):failed to open address library file. I have all files PapyrusUtil, Adress Library for SKSE plugins and Engine Fixes updated however there are other files regarding animation or others that still require updating, however, It's never been an issue until following this video so I have no idea what to do.
For some strange reason I can't seam to get Nemesis to register the new animations installed. Literally EVERYTHING is in the same order: all animations ordered correctly, followed the previous guide and updated mod priority as recommended, Have the exact same mods (and mods in the mod priority that weren't listed other than the order list @ 22:39). Like, no matter where I place nemesis in mod priority it just can't seam to register the animations. Still trouble shooting, but man... Guess I'm the only one that's having trouble here IG lol
Well I figured it out! there's some pre req mods for the 2 out of nexus mods not listed as required for install in the video. If there's anyone struggling with the same problem as me I'd HIGHLY recommend and installing ANYTHING & EVERYTHING listed in the dependency's tab and going through the overwrite process as necessary on SKSE startup. The launcher will inform any and all conflicts and all you need to do is disable/enable any redundancies as needed.
You need to install Animation I frame fix. It’s listed as a dependency for both of the Skyrim guild mods that are pinned in the discretion of this video. You will find links below the mod description on the site. I say Skyrim guild cause that’s the link provided from MO2 mod manager. It’s not obv, but yeah. There’s also a single press power attack mod that’s needed as well that’s not the same as the one listed in the video. It binds sheath to the key “v” on PC. The alternative i frame animation fix has key files that simply need to be loaded once in nemesis but there’s a specific DLL file that causes a conflict with the one provided in the video. Also og has an old version of nemesis and has differing anaimations than we do if we’re jumping from the mod guide to this video to continue modding/learning. They have 29 pages on nemesis I only have 24 after my fix. So if you’re jumping from the modding guide you should have 24. Important, pay attention to the instructions for installation on the site. Since the newer version of nemesis links Skyrim Guild you won’t be directed to the proper site to see your out of nexus animation mod. Look for AMOC and DMOC. I’m almost certain I messed up the acronym for the DXP combat animation mods but on the site where you install it tells you! Check those boxes on nemesis and you should have roughly 1400 animations loaded after updating and running. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Regarding Combat Pathing Revolution NG, it was taken down from Nexus by the mod author because it doesn't work. They only updated the plugin loading part of the code but not the mod itself. Several talented mod authors have already tried to update the original mod (only supports Skyrim SE/AE v1.5.97) but failed and the original mod author (maxsu2017) have no plans to update it themselves for the current 1.6 version. In addition, CPR does nothing on its own as it required MCO movesets to be patched for it to work. There is a CPR patcher tool in the original CPR mod page.
RE the last point, that is correct yes. The reason for it's inclusion is actually because it is a dependency for other mods installed which during testing, refused to cooperate without it being installed. It meant I had to keep it in there for other mods to function correctly. The version available through Google Drive which I linked in the description was tested days before this video was released to ensure it worked. Combat was tested with and without the mod and advances were performed differently indicating mods within the list were using it. By all means, it was not utilized to it's full extent (far from as far as I can see) but again, it's presence was notable as it must have ensured a mod dependent on it was able to function To fully utilize Combat Pathing Rev, you need to have installed mods that can employ it's features and configure them to do so. It's something I was planning on including in the video but due to it's current state not being updated for 1170 along with the video already being as long as it is, it was essentially scrapped.
@@ADHDecent It's great to know that it sort-of works in your testing. Personally, I dropped it from my modlist when I learned the author pulled it off Nexus because "it didnt work and will be back with a working version" (sic) and I wanted to avoid issues with an unsupported mod. I was already several hours into playtesting various things in my game and I didn't want to nuke everything and downgrade my game runtime just to accomodate Combat Pathing Revolution when I was making my first (current) modlist a few months back (following your MO2 tutorial lol). The mod author has since deleted their account and CPR NG only exists in that google drive link and Nexus archives from what I can tell. Really hoping we can get a properly supported update to the mod soon. Anyways, thanks for your wonderful work once again.
I'm honored. I really appreciate your kind words thank you. It certainly is an interesting situation! Hopefully we can get an updated one soon. That would be nice.
For the Vanargand walk, run and sprint animations, the file section in the mod page says you should choose between the main file and the CATA Addon, but I see you have both at 22:28. Should we also download both or was it a mistake?
And I also don't see the Leviathan wal, run and sprint animations. You said we should download both Vanargand and Leviathan if I'm not mistaken. Thank you so much for your hardwork!!!
Editing mistake. Sorry about that. It's the incorrect screenshot used. But when you reach the "this is what it should look like" page, it's correct again :)
There's a high chance it's not fine but isn't noticeable yet. (Missing features, actions untested or even cache corruption/instability) Cracked versions are unstable. There's no guarantee it'll work. If it does, fair enough.
Any advice/Guide on set up for those of use who have to use a Gamepad/Controller? Like for setting up the dodge ot Power attack? (Due to a disability, I can't use Keyboard effectively for long periods.)
I followed this guide since the beginning and everything is fine. Thank you very much btw! But now there are mods I want to include but I'm afraid to mess up what we did so far. Is there a way for me to "backup" the state of MO2 as it is now, so I can revert back to it in case I mess up the build?
Damn. I fucked up so badly. During the refresh as you said in this video I pushed the accidentally the wrong button, I clicked on the mod name cause my mouse slipped. Now my whole mod list is in alphabetic order. Do I really need to recap all the videos to place then all back into the right category? Or is there another way. Dear God I hope there is
Don't worry! You've just ordered them by their alphabetical order. If you look at the Mod Priority number you'll see that number is no longer in order. The order hasnt changed, just the way they are seen on screen. To change it, select the column of the category you want it to be shown ordered. For eg. Mod Priority
will any other dodge framework work other than the one you showed in the video? 16:20 im playing on SE, so i hope there's another mod that i use. also the part where you check the mods in nemesis, no new mods has appeared only the first 19. i also missed up the game keep crashing after launching skse.
Are you sure that the linked dll file for Combat Pathing Revolution NG actually works for the latest Skyrim AE? I have been seeing multiple reports in the comments section of the original mod that it actually doesn't do anything and can actually make the game unstable.
@@ADHDecent I should have been more clear, sorry. Multiple comments on the original mod page were talking about the NG version of the dll that you have linked in your description. They were saying that it actually doesn't work and that all it is is just loading the mod with the 1.6.xxx library but the core functions of the mod don't work. How do you know for sure that the dll actually works on the latest AE version of Skyrim? Did you notice that the NPCs were acting smarter with the mod installed as opposed to without the mod?
This took so long to make, the desk changed... I also had 2 haircuts in that time 😂

THE COMEBACK!
Proud of you dude. Happy you’re okay.
I can't express how much this means to me. Thank you bro. Thank you ❤️
Its already been said by others but ill say it again.
Oh you ;-) you're too kind. ❤️
Welcome back, legend!
Honored. Thank you!! ❤️
just started skyrim modding yesterday, and i am so glad i came across your channel. been following every single video, you're a life saver lol.
I'm honored. Thank you for your support. Means alot. Glad I'm able to help!
@@ADHDecent of course! been playing skyrim since it came out but always had a console. didn't realize how extensive the modding was
I began with console myself! Didn't even have a PC until a few years ago! It's quite a shock when you realise how extensive it is!
Mate what a coincidence after a long break I started from scratch yesterday !😂
I followed the whole series and holy molly that's incredible ,thanks for the amazing job !
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. I really appreciate it and I'm so glad you have enjoyed the journey! I look forward to covering more areas in future likely as standalone videos :)
I think it's the first ever modding guide, whare author explained everything a regular player needs for modding combat.
Really appreciate you brother thank you. Means alot to me and I'm glad you're enjoying!
Lets Goooooo, finally 🎉
I feel you there too!! 😆
just finished getting this together, banging job my dude. was really trying to figure out how to use open animation replacer and im glad i watched this. all my animations are squared away, time to just add some more mods to the mix and start playing. good job and im glad youre back!
Thank you so much mate I'm honored. I can't begin to say how nervous I was for this one so it's amazing to hear it's well received. Really appreciate you. ❤️
@@ADHDecent you’re doing a great service to the modding community, keep up the good work. I love this channel!
Means the world to me. Thank you for joining me for the ride :)
Keep it up good work i followed literally all of your video. you re a great popularizer of modding nicely and properly
I really appreciate you thank you! means alot. Looking forward to sharing more!
I WAS HERE! THE LEGEND IS BACK!
Ah you hero. Thank you brother! Appreciate it!
I'm honored man thank you so much. Your words mean everything to me. It's my motivation. I can't express that enough I really appreciate you ♥️
Gonna watch this twice(I haven't finished the playlist but I'm powering through half of it already)
Thanks for doing god's work 🙌
I really appreciate the kind words and support thank you so much. Means the world!
Wonderful series. You're so underrated. This is the Best modding guide on TH-cam.
Can you please make a vid on Wabbajack about how to compile/create our own modlist, what are the requirements and proper methods.?
Youre so kind. I appreciate you thank you so much. Means a lot! Yes actually covering this is something that I will be covering in future :-)
Great work, you must have brilliant parents to help you become like this !! Keep it up
Appreciate it thanks! I'm very lucky there for sure. They've supported my crazy ideas for years! xD
I waited so long for this, and i am so glad that you are back. thank you so much for this, couldnt have done it without you. you are the best!
I'm so thankful to you. Your kind words and motivation mean so much thank you. Honored. It's been a long time this one for sure!

WHOOP!!!
(A bit outdated at some points but still great)
Keep up the great work!👍
Ps, can you pls show your full updated mod order in MO2.
Was it worth it? So much better than nemesis? ty
@@Iksie same mo2... ty again

Awesome video man, looking forward to the next in the series!
Thank you brother. Really means a hell of a lot. I appreciate it. Looking forward to sharing more
Great quality as always!
Are there plans on how to use OAR?
Personally, I'm having trouble using it; for example, in how to solve animation conflicts.
Also Immersive Equipment Displays seems to be challenging in how to use.
What a journey this has been... amazing saga. What a finale!
I really appreciate it thank you so much. Means the world and this was an incredible challenge to take on for sure! I'm glad you're enjoying the ride!
Once again, absolutely brilliant, sincere thanks good sir.
Thank you so much I really appreciate you! Really glad you liked it!
@@ADHDecenthope to see it soon bro, adding physics changes everything!
It's definitely on my list to look into. If I can find a "family friendly" (by that I mean the youtube gods must approve) approach then I'll do that. If not, I may look at covering it on Patreon or something similar. Not sure yet but I'll work it out somehow! :D
@@ADHDecent Posting outside TH-cam is a good option, i'm eager for Player, NPC and Physics too xD
You are back! Great! I can't wait to switch on my gaming PC and watch the video and work through it. But first I have to get through the working day.
Whoop!! Appreciate it! Absolutely :) hope you enjoy. Let me know how you get on :)
I will definitely make a note of this for next time :)
@@ADHDecent Are you still thinking about that, please?
Nice videos you put through. Hope you are doing well.
Thank you so much mate I appreciate you. Means alot!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this. While waiting, I undertook the combat overhaul process on my own and it was daunting and overwhelming, but I have everything working. It was good to be able to check what I have/did against this video though. Couple of things I missed so thanks again :)
I do have a question though.
Ah yes to some extent I will be covering Bodyslide however to what end is yet to be decided as TH-cam are not fans of its usage and content
thanks, this video is very helpful😊
You're very welcome! Glad I could help!
Excellent video dude. Sent it to a friend as well. Thank you for this.
Appreciate it bro thank you! Means alot. Really glad you liked it
I just binged so many of your videos.
Just in time! These paired with the new dismemberment framework is going to be SICK.
Hope you enjoy! :)
Welcome back again. Good to have you here again alive and kicking, dude. Great video. Just the ID part doesn't work for me I get an error and can;t look up the mods I have to do it manually. That's fine. I can hack it, takes just a little longer
Thank you mate! Really appreciate you! Strange that's not working though...
(after 2500 hours and 7 years of playing it vanilla Skyrim is nice to go back to but damn I can only play like one character before I am burnt out) Anyways I guess what I'm getting at is I want to thank you for giving me the inspiration to go back and figure things out for my self and make everything work with my mid range pc (I do love my visual mods a little too much for this poor pc) speaking of the specs are
GPU - 3060ti
CPU R5 5600x
RAM - 16GB DDR4
SSD - 1x1TB M.2NVME 1x500GBNVME
You can imagine with that sort of space a 300GB+ mod list takes up an insane chunk along with footage for videos etc.
I don’t know if anyone else was running into the issue I was with Nemesis but it just wouldn’t get past its updating engine. So I switched to Pandora.
Finally I have mco working thank you adhdecent
You're very welcome! Enjoy! :)
This is gonna be a banger

(BTW you could do a video for gameplay overhaul like Requiem, Ordinator, SkyRE etc. 😉)
Appreciate it thank you! Means alot mate. It's certainly something I'll be looking into in future!
@@ADHDecent I think a Simonrim overhaul might fit the vibe of this series better than Ordinator, but that's just me. It's what I'm attempting to incorporate into this list anyhow.
mate ! litteraly just in time ! i was about to start my combat mod list !
Amazing news!! Let me know how you get on! :)
LET'S GOOOO
Finally ❤
Whoop!!!! 🍾😁
I really appreciate that thank you. Means alot. And I completely agree most people will go for a list because it is demanding and confusing aha
Nemesis used to work, I knew I shouldn't have deleted the nemesis output folder on the start. I encountered the same issue I had before when doing this tutorial. Nemesis simply won't launch. I can run Nemesis and could successfully press Update Engine. However, pressing Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine would result in the message, "Checking engine version
Changes in file detected. Engine update is required to be performed." An endless loop.
pandora is actually pretty good and much faster than nemesis i highly recommend checking it out
Absolutely. It will be used going forward but due to the progression and stage of The Complete Guide, revising the engine used would mean we go back not forward with it all so I decided to stick with it this time around. I'm looking to cover it soon separately though as it's incredibly promising
Whoo, it's here! Welcome back
Also, suggestions for future video; show some of the cool, smaller features of MO2, like, how to backup your setup. That way, if your 400+ mod list you just got working suddenly got resorted alphabetically because your PC lost power while installing that one last mod and you had to rearrange everything by hand again from memory . . . Well avoiding that sounds like a great thing. It sure would be terrible to discover MO2 backups exist *after* that happened. ;_;
Thank you bro! Good to be back!
Certainly worth expanding on my current script if it's possible. I've got one with a few mo2 tips in the pipeline :D
This guide uses the most up to date version so naturally we want the most recent mod versions too
This video is incredibly well made!
Thank you so much! I can't express how much that means to me. This was my biggest project so far so to read this is incredibly motivating! Honored
@@ADHDecent I can tell, the amount of work put in looks insane. Very satisfying and well paced editing. Super informative. Well done man!

alrigtht thank you once more for theis awesome guide, now I'm stuck with the greatsword animations not working. Like, I can use EVERY other animation except attack animations.
Edit: It is with a heavy heart, that I had to retire Nemeis, after years of service, with my current setup it would not play my attack animations. Pandora is the future, fixed the issues.
You are so back bro
Honored bro! Thank you man! Its good to be back
What a comeback !

Thank you mate! Appreciate it! It's something I'll look at with expansions probably
@@ADHDecent Cheers
20:14 absolutely cracked me up xDDDDDDD
😂👌 I'm glad you like it!
Thanks for all the effort you've made with this combat guide. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it right. I've tried now 3 times to install all the mods you've showed. Skyrim won't start afterwards
Suggestion:
Please, mister, your guide is amazing so far.
Also, if you don't want to show original names. At least show the mods in the downloads page, like how you did in minute 11:55.
Noted. Thank you
I tried. I'll have to come back to this. I followed the guide but had issues with a couple of the animations. OAR anims seem to fire off, the combat ones had some weird behaviours though (I know they're different to OAR)
Works with Pandora if anyone wants to know
I have finally figured out my problem with Nemesis not working. My problem:
After installing all mods in the video perfectly and stopping at this point, 22:41 in the video.
If I got to Nemesis and pressed Update Engine. Everything works out perfectly.
However, the problem begins when I press Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine. Nemesis outputs, "Checking engine version
Changes in file detected. Engine update is required to be performed." Basically an endless loop.
The suspects in question were the two mods that we need to install from the distaranimation website. Specifically, "Attack - MCO|DXP" and "Dodge - MCO|DXP."
The solution to this problem is unchecking both of these mods on the left tab, Nemesis would launch perfectly.
My game is all laggy :( i follow exactly what you did. I remarked that i don't have the same mod available in the Nemesis engine.
Llego el momento!! 🎉🎉
Finally!!!!! 🥰🍾
Combat pathin revolution ng creo que no sirve, de echo el link que dejaron en el mod original lo quitaron por lo mismo. 😢
Hello :)
I have to say my game is kinda broken, even if i followed exactly everything you did. My character has some major animations issues and the game is blinking... :(
I finally remarked that my mods on the Nemesis engine are not the same as you.
Ive been using Vanargand animations for years, and I just gave up and called it vanguard animations lol!
😆👌 I think I'm going to do that aswell haha
Hi there! Amazing guide, thank you so much! Which 1h sword animation is being used at 15:05? Love the fluidity and natural grounded feel of it! much better than vanilla!
I appreciate it thank you mate! I'm not sure off by heart but the animations will be part of what is installed :)
finally...
might of been worth showing what options to select on nemisis as i installed as directed and had half the number of animations
I mention in the video they don't all load at once. You'll find in game once they do load the number will increase
@@ADHDecent when i first launched Nem Attack MCO want on the list. It is now thankfully. only thing I cant get working is the dodge function.
Edit: Only thing I cant get to work is the dodge
@ADHDecent I have solved the issue my problem was in the DMCO FOMOD selection.
I've been following this guide from the beginning and it's worked beautifully so far, unfortunately, after installing all mods and doing as you instructed from this vid, the game now refuses to load through SKSE. All I get is this error message:
REL/relocation.h(1101):failed to open address library file.
What mods were these?
@@Needs_Tzel I think I have the same issue as you. Could you please tell us what mods we need to install? Thanks!
@@ADHDecent sorry for the late response I’ll leave another comment shortly the mod ID’s on nexus once I’m at my PC
Back in businesses
It feels glorious! Aha! :D
By all means, it was not utilized to it's full extent (far from as far as I can see) but again, it's presence was notable as it must have ensured a mod dependent on it was able to function
To fully utilize Combat Pathing Rev, you need to have installed mods that can employ it's features and configure them to do so.
I've also playtested it and have come to the conclusion it doesn't work, and it is best removed from the list unless running v1.5.97.
Dumb question, but are "Valhalla combat" and "precision" compatible with this list?
Yes
Has anyone else has issues with crashing on starting or loading a save?
You dirty FNIS users we know your out there 👀
🤣👌
For the Vanargand walk, run and sprint animations, the file section in the mod page says you should choose between the main file and the CATA Addon, but I see you have both at 22:28. Should we also download both or was it a mistake?
And I also don't see the Leviathan wal, run and sprint animations. You said we should download both Vanargand and Leviathan if I'm not mistaken. Thank you so much for your hardwork!!!
Editing mistake. Sorry about that. It's the incorrect screenshot used. But when you reach the "this is what it should look like" page, it's correct again :)
Where would you recommend dismembering framework in the load out?
pirated copy user here and it works just fine idk why would you say otherwise lol
There's a high chance it's not fine but isn't noticeable yet. (Missing features, actions untested or even cache corruption/instability)
Cracked versions are unstable. There's no guarantee it'll work. If it does, fair enough.
Any advice/Guide on set up for those of use who have to use a Gamepad/Controller?
Like for setting up the dodge ot Power attack?
(Due to a disability, I can't use Keyboard effectively for long periods.)
I use a gameplay myself. It all works with it and you can configure keybinds in the MCM :-)
I am following this video but I cannot find combat pathing revolution for version 1.6+. I found the one for version 1.5.97.
link in description
dang can't find Combat Pathing REvolition for 1.6+
Linked in description:)
I followed this guide since the beginning and everything is fine. Thank you very much btw! But now there are mods I want to include but I'm afraid to mess up what we did so far. Is there a way for me to "backup" the state of MO2 as it is now, so I can revert back to it in case I mess up the build?
I feel this 😅
@@ADHDecent Life saver
will any other dodge framework work other than the one you showed in the video? 16:20
im playing on SE, so i hope there's another mod that i use.
also the part where you check the mods in nemesis, no new mods has appeared only the first 19.
i also missed up the game keep crashing after launching skse.
Are you sure that the linked dll file for Combat Pathing Revolution NG actually works for the latest Skyrim AE? I have been seeing multiple reports in the comments section of the original mod that it actually doesn't do anything and can actually make the game unstable.
Yep it works. It's why it's linked on GDrive not Nexus. Nexus version doesn't work
@@ADHDecent I should have been more clear, sorry.
What will happen if We select the ones which we have not installed?
