I lost my dad September 5th 2021, found him peacefully sleeping at home, he passed from covid but thankfully in his sleep from what I could tell, I found your song "daddys son" right after he passed and it got me through some rough times, just know you have a fan and I know if he was still here my daddy would love your music just as much and think of his daddy also, thank you for helping all of us through these times, it means the world to us I promise
My twin brother passed away about 10 months ago and I miss him terribly but more than that he has two wonderful children who are amazing people and I can’t help but think about them listening to this song !!!

Take heart in knowing that heart failure by itself is not the worst news. I was diagnosed with heart failure almost 10 years ago and I am just now hitting the end stages. My prayers are with you and you family. It isn’t easy but know that God is still in control. Keep your heard up. It’s not your time till God needs you home.

I lost my Dad in June. He was an incredible person and big music man. He taught me to not just listen but interpret and feel each lyric. For as far back as I could remember he would make these cassettes for every occasion and put so much thought into every song that made the list.
About a month ago I came across the one titled ‘last hospital visit, therapy music’ and i can’t even put into words the emotions that lyrical goodbye list of songs created. This one hit the hardest though

My mom passed away arch 25th 2024. Last time I spoke with her was March 24th. She shared a poem around the same time last year with lyrics same as the song,which made me Google if there was a song like that. It brought me and my sister here. We played it at her funeral. I'm so lost and just can't wrap my head around this. I love you mama. And I miss you so damn much. We talked everyday and now I can't call you. It's so damn hard.
I can relate... Just lean on Jesus he will see you thru. My mama passed 3.5 years ago. It's still hard. But I will see her again. Praise God!

Some people seem to get over it . I don't know how they do it. The song says it will be ok . For some folks , I guess. I'm sorry for your loss. Can't say I know how you feel cause it is different for everyone . My wife willl be gone 14 years this coming March and it's still not " OK " for me . Christmas is hard for me , I suspect its tough for you too. I pray for strength , I'll add you to my list . The only thing that helps me is I know I will see her again one day , probably soon .
