So much character in this scene. 9s's growth - and i think Kula doesn't really hate Angel. I get a huge sisters vibe from them. They even left on a tongue-sticking out quarrel
I love how at the start screen Krohnen has to shout at his team mates to stop bickering. He became the only sane man in his team. What a drastic growth.
I'm just in awe that they actually referred to him by his old name. I only started KOF with 14, but I planned on playing Krohnen because A. he looks cool and B. his "history." This ending definitely secures him a spot as part of my character list.

You can tell Kula enjoyed Krohnen's company by the way she turned around and said "Well, Krohnen...bye bye." Yeah he is a cocky and rude asshole and he also tried to intimidate her (which never worked) but Kula has experience of being in company of a rude and cocky asshole and just like with K' she probably sensed kindness in Krohnen. All the name calling like "stupid kiddo" or "brat" has no effect on her cuz K' used them so many times that she doesn't care anymore and knows he only does it to hide the fact that he cares for her. I like these little character developments, hope to see them team up again in the future and maybe beat up some serious bosses for old times sake :D

Can we just talk for a minute about what khronen became now? I mean... He's not a villain anymore as in the previous games, this... This is so satisfying... It made me feel peace... Idk how to exprees what i felt when i saw this ending, it was so... So peaceful and it feels like some kind of redemption or something like that to khronen, i really liked the detail of how angel called him "k9999", i've never used the character but i feel happy for the direction that SNK took for him, yeah... Maybe he stills hating kyo for the fact of being his clone, but khronen's life now goes for a good way... Thanks snk, now i like a character that i didn't liked at all before
He actually hates Kusanagi, a Kyo clone, for rivalry reasons, as seen in the non-canon KOF 2002. Don't confuse "Kusanagi" with "Kyo Kusanagi". That's why his special intro with Kyo looked like Krohnen hated someone else with Kyo's face. I find it actually amusing for Krohnen to distinguish between the original and the clone.
While I was beyond overjoyed and relieved to see them both, *where is Candy Diamond?!* ;_; I still remember KOF 2000 and how Kula's story mode ends, so I've been hoping that they would've managed to repair her ever since!

This ending sets up a future for the NESTS saga characters. Looks like Kula is not going to be with K' anymore, but she is not coming back with 9 and Angel neither. So a Team with Kula, Diana and Foxy is more likely for the next KOF.
Khronen is basically his chosen name now. K9999 is his serial number. Hopefully kusanagi returns as well. But not as a copy paste of kyo but a whole different look.
@@maosama3695 problem is that he kinda interferes with the storyline. Krohnen says he knows someone just by the name Kusanagi, but Kusanagi himself didn't appear canonically until 2003, which was where the NESTS saga ended. 2002 was a Dream Match so it wasn't really a thing.

This could be an easily fix with a story of a rogue sentient clone that k9999 was suppose to dispatch and he was bested by the clone. Imagine a kyo clone with a little more rugged look and with khronen no longer a villain this kyo clone can be easily written as a main villain at some point in the story.

He made an appearance in 2002 which was a Dream Match due to the lack of storyline and it bringing back old deceased characters such as CYS and Omega Rugal. He was a Dream Match exclusive character turned into a canon character, but he turned into one AFTER NESTS saga.
I shoulda known Krohnen is K9999, I kinda understand the whole SNK and creator of Akira lawsuit, K9999 is already a canon character of KOF franchise , no blob hand this time.
