For a while part of me has a running theory that each season could time jump by a year each season taking the overall story to the late 90s. I know that seems odd cause they usually stretch out the post launch story by a year but hear me out, Season 5 could take place in 1996 which canonically is when David Mason was in the Navy as an officer. It could be around the time marketing for the next game begins, re introduce him to show that 2025 is the way of the future. Then if Season 6 is maybe 1997, we could have another crossover with Modern Warfare to where Barkov has his plan to invade Urzikstan for that following year. Fanfiction on my part? Definitely. But I think it would be cool to see narrative wise.
MP is still core to the franchise, but I agree that the campaign story should be given more love and recognition. DLC campaign would be a sight for sore eyes and fun fact, even BO4’s cut campaign was apparently gonna have campaign DLC.
@@elijah_1415 black ops 4 was the only one I didn't buy and for that reason alone was because of no campaign. Plus black ops 3s campaign was a shit show of storytelling. I keep wishing that treyarch and Activision would be smart and remaster all the old campaigns and sell them for 20 bucks on the playstation store and xbox and steam.
@@NoirVibesYTIt was around but man does it not fit with Sev’s character. I genuinely did not even notice it was her and had to go back to read the name in the subtitles to realize it was indeed Sev. Absolutely wild choice of outfit design. I really don’t like how campaign stuff gets integrated into multiplayer because the vibes are completely different
@@SilverGeFer That's a fair point. Tbh I personally don't mind, I sort of like Sev's new look. I've been liking some of the skins of the last few years that they've released for the operators.
I would have rathered the warzone map be something involving Iraq or Kuwait because it’s a significant part of the campaign but MW2 did Al-Mazrah which was primarily based off of New Bagdad in Iraq, so Treyarch had to come up with sum new
@@BranWolfYTnah what I meant was I was wrong that we will get a story cutscene but it seems Treyarch kept their word. What I do predict is that I can see how Menendez is tied to these crime factions since he got that drug money
Came up with this concept a little while ago: what if, each Warzone season took place in-between/was themed around a certain part of the Campaign? It would solve some of the issues we’re having now, as each Warzone season would actually expand upon the Campaign and its characters, instead of forcing the Campaign to be open-ended. But yeah, if you’re reading this, let me know what you think. I’m curious.
I wish they would just make DLCs to the Story instead of a few cutscenes in Warzone.
Me 2 :(

I would really like that idea tbh
I believe the campaign needs to become the core of cod again. Forget multiplayer for a few years.
I wish

I don't even play warzone so they wild for making us watch or play warzone to get the story
I rather that we get DLC expansion storylines for this game instead of another war zone update. Warzone is too overrated multiplayer
I agree
This is probably gonna lead us to Menendez as we cut Pantheon off from the criminal underworld.
I think that COD should have a dlc after the campaign cause it will more COD lore
Sev fit look super out of place for the 90s.
Yeah it's wild
Not really. That kind of punk outfit and hairstyle was definitely around back then lol

That would be cool actually a map in iraq
They could be doing like a Cold War seasonal storyline
I was wrong. My prediction Menendez is tied to the crime factions in Avalon
It's alright you know it's hard to predict what's coming in these updates

I been saying they need to extend the campaign smh

We def do
idk how I'm the second person to like this video.
@@hotrodslayer4966 just how it goes sometimes
I just thought the campaign was absolutely ridiculous for making us fight zombies in it. If I wanted to, I would play the zombies mode.
