What is the point of collecting trash as dry and wet separately in smaller vehicles and then mixing them in a compacter and throwing in a single landfill, Wet waste should be utilised for some sort of Bio gas production (BTW thank you for all the BBMP workers for keeping the city clean)

It is just for the sake of rules😂. We should learn from Singapore in waste management and also country management

Wet waste will be used separately and it will be converted into compost and used for agriculture..
      That's separation is very important.
All these compost need to be sold to farmers by agri input companies compulsory as per govt of India regulations.

BBMP has destroyed our Village by dumping 14 Lakh Tonnes of garbage in the early 2000s and stopped dumping due to severe protest by US, but we still are suffering from Problems like ground water contamination. PS Mavallipura Village

Amazing how the older parts of the city (Indiranagar to Cubbon Park area) were so well maintained and beautiful, on the other hand KR Pura to Silkboard road looks so rundown with very narrow lanes to residential outlets and so many dirt roads

Why do residents have to segregate waste when everything is eventuality dumped together. After few years there will be another scam to remove dumped waste. Has BBMP done any study on the impact to environment & local people due to this mindless dumping of garbage. This video should have also focused on those issues

Some one should develop a ml based machine to segregate wet and dry waste. Bbmp should do composting of wet waste. Every one should do composting at home as much as possible.

First, these employees should do all these work during night time... instead blocking all lanes with their vehicle. secondly consistency! some areas doesnt have anything like this. they dump everywhere. Third - fine ppl heavily so they wont throw on the road.

    • @bipinmc123
      @bipinmc123 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

your third point should be the first... and so easily you have mentioned that this work should be done at night...do you know the amount of work that goes in for this? people are not provided proper gloves or adequate gear to clear this . To top that, they are paid peanuts. It's easier said then done. If people were sensible to at least realize that they are also humans like us and it's a painstaking job, things would have been so much better.

not the right way of collecting trash, some citizens are happy that trash is collected from their door step. Instead citizens should have their choice of time to dispose trash whenever they want however within the laws and regulations of the authority.
1.)Firstly citizens should segregate their dry and wet waste separately and dispose in a near by waste disposal bin. So that people can dispose their trash at any given time they want. becasue people have different work schedules.
2.) this way, trash could be picked from the allotted trash bin area at any given time.
3.) if citizens are not following the rules then, authorities should have a monitoring system to manage the rules and laws through monitoring system. this sorta monitoring system can help many other analysis of data.
4.) this can exempt the number of vehicles/man power of the trash authorities and can save a lot of money.
5.) this can also save manpower cleaning road trash every day.
6.) this kinda practice of waste management collection can avoid trash on streets and also stop clogging/blocking the drainage systems.

They are damaging environment. Waste should be segregated and treated properly otherwise it will cause more issues down the line. They are not cleaning they are polluting. Instead of making tunnel they should create treatment plant. Focus on roads and streetlight instead of 60 percent kannada board.
