Props to the blokes running towards the fire to make sure old mate got out. That shit is bravery award worthy.
Too right. I wondered what he was doing at first and then realised the truckie was stuck in there. Bloody Legend. Hands down.
Absolutely. Deserves a bravery award for that. Also bloody scary to see the burning fuel spread so fast!
That was mere seconds left... Hats off!
Running into chemical fumes without a respirator could be fatal
@@stevenfarrington2361abandoning a stuck driver to die in a fire because you might get hurt ... yeah, nah.
That kangaroo had better brake application than some car drivers
He might want to consider the anti-skid model next time, though.
Just needs to hop on the brakes sooner.
Adelaide has had 2 Roos bouncing around for weeks now
ALL kangaroos have better brakes than vehicles - it's just their survival techniques which are lacking.
But their ABS isn't working! 🤪
A kangaroo, a peacock, two rogue wheels and a terrifying fire - this video has it all!
not to mention a police chase and road spikes
"Get that person off the fuckin' road"
Thus endeth the lesson for today
Road worker : seriously I thought this was meant to be a boring job!
Kind of weird thing to shout at a road worker though.
came here to say the same thing...
amen brother
watching Scotty's & DCOA TH-cam channels suggests that 50% of current drivers should be, "off the fucking road..".
A parent explaining what noob means to their child. Damn I feel old.
9:48 imagine calling him an idiot whilst you ran a red light. absolutely no respect for red light runners
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice.
He has a dashcam therefore he couldn't POSSIBLY do anything wrong.
@@MrJadiin I do love the dash cammers who complain about others when their dash cam cleanly shows them doing something stupid.
@@UnholyniteAnd they still send the video in. Dumb.
This was one clip they should have saved for the April Fools video…
@01:20 "what are you doing, no no no" sums up like 75% of my time on the roads these days 😂
and 98% of car drivers
wow that last one, that dude was so lucky to get out before he became a crispy critter
And amazing that aged drivers all ran to help whilst the dashcam vehicle driver stayed in car recording it. Wonder what their age/gender was?
@@saintsone7877 looked to me like the dashcammer got out of the car to help, cause before they started reversing it looked like it shook from the impact of them getting back in the car. Take it from this 74 year old that you should never assume, especially from only one viewpoint
Wasn’t the dash cam driver the older man who ran to help?

I can't think of drivers of those things as anything but cnts. which may not be fair... but incidents like that are all that come to mind.
When you buy ugly car like that gladiator, having no brains is a given.
Don't worry it will break down
I was super impressed with the cams reverse park! Considering her was watching the dipshit baby driver. Lol😂
Usa car, USA behavior imo
2:50 hes running from the cops but still has the decency to use his signals idk why but i found that hilarious bahahhaa
I've seen a few movies. Probably luring them into a false sense of security then will fake em out and escape em :)
He takes the phrase "Never commit two crimes at once" very seriously
Now they cant add "failure to indicate" to his rap sheet. Big brain move
Times may change, but standards must remain.
He has to use his turn signals so he can let the cops that are chasing him know where he’s going
17:45 absolutely terrifying how quickly that situation got worse and worse
And looks like the driver got out just in time.
Wait , the EV fires are coming , and they are big , toxic, long lasting fires . For those who haven't seen a Lithium ion battery ignite, wait until it goes Thermal. But check it out.
talk about a fluid situation, the driver might need to shout a few beers
@@johnwhorfin5150 …a few beers is what probably got him into this mess in the first place
Fuel in the gutter like that killed a policeman in the pilbara years ago, tanker went over, petrol and vapour run up the drains and all went bang when the police cars hot engine and exhaust showed up. Anyone with dangerous goods training knows to stay well away, fuel and grease/tyre fires are nasty
Excellent foresight @ 5:45 - avoiding the Police tyre strip, and warning others !
I didn't even see the spike strip
Cops were just to slow for the ratbag.
@@ilikechickensausages2075 neither did I but the dash camera doesn't capture details that well.
Yeah those officers were way too slow and should lose their jobs
I reckon some colourful language could be directed at those coppers for leaving that stuff out for innocent motorists. Like WTAF MF????
Last clip, that bloke running towards the burning truck to help has balls of steel and a heart of fucking gold
That must be the best sustained flight from a peacock I've ever seen.

That's what peacocks are... crows in drag. 😂
13:35 I had to replay because I didn't understand why he swore but that was chilling when I realised.
My favourite clips are the people sending them in actually breaking the law themselves lol
Like old mate shouting at a ute driver under steering, when hes running a red...
@@Ricardo_Moto hahahaa was thinking the exact same clip. muppets galore
The sheperd23 they have dashcamsso they are not breaking the law

9:40 well done champ, way to dob yourself in as a tosspot
I love how he's going off at the guy for doing the exact same thing he was doing
Basically nearly three dumbfucks for the price of one
I came here to say that. Bloody idiot! 🤣🤣
Right? Someone who speeds to run a red light calling someone else a "fucking idiot" is hilariously stupid.
Yep, both of them were going too fast and under steered.
It's safe to say, if you see a Hyundai Getz, it's about to crash into you.
It's short for Getz in the way.
Right?! How on earth are there still any left on the road? They are literally a dying breed...
It’s gonna Getz ya.
Ludacris had a song about that I think "Move b###h getz out the way"
@6:56 - yeah, DC had plenty of notice, and the coach had ample space, so self own with that submission
Objects In Your Dash Cam Video Are Closer Than They Appear
I think the problem might be that the bus looks like a Fuso Rosa, which is a heavy vehicle, and restricted to 40km/h and the left lane on that segment.
That's a 90Kph road. you need to keep left, unless over-taking on roads over 80Ks. bus had no reason to change lanes, especially in front of a car moving at speed. DC not being courteous also has nothing to do with it. over-taking lane over-takes, if its not safe to move in to the over-taking lane, DONT MOVE! Simple.
And this so called "ample space" (irrelevant, due to the inappropriate lane change) is actually a lot less space than it looks.
@@stavrosrahnos6071 ok, I had the wrong location... thought it looked like Mount Ousley Rd. You're right on all counts.
@@stavrosrahnos6071 Dude had like 2 bus lengths in front of him and could clearly see the bus trying to merge. 1:25 At least the traffic controller person had something to do, I always drive past them thinking it must be such a mind numbingly boring job lol
The Pay is more than adequate to cover boredom >They are all on special pay awards...solidarity forever etc etc .

More in the red then the ute.
Unless yellow lights only last two seconds I'm going to disagree with you on that

dude at 7:27 was so disappointed in the car who hit him
looked like a young fella, might have been his first car
i'd be disappointed too
The moment I saw the fire clip, I went into complete silence. Absolutely terrifying.
Every single week I am astounded by the stupidity that is on Australian roads with me.
For some people driving is complicated thing, got to remember left and right, then there is whole breathing in and out thing. That's a lot for some.
to a lot of people I encounter on the roads these days,I think actually driving the car is #4 on the list of things they are doing while commuting to and from Work.
2:16 you flog 😂
The irony of it all is that the Aurion behind it would of done a better burn out 😂😂😂😂😂
Shout out to the skillz on display @17:27. Greasy road and all, top survival instincts by that rider.
Hope he had his headlight on. But sometimes a single headlight can confuse a driver that only takes a cursory glance...
@@TonyHamlyn Some drivers are confused by a Give Way sign. Stop signs require genius level IQ.
@@TonyHamlyn On the majority of motorcycles the headlight is always on when the key is in the on position and it can't be turned off. Can't see much of a reflection on the road from his headlight though.
Are cars magnetically attracted to the right lane when entering the freeway or something? Does the right lane give you better fuel economy?
If you're second in the queue to enter you're usually stuck behind someone really timid so you pull out and around them. Unfortunately, people seeing a merge approach, speed up to stop drivers "getting in front" of them, and you have to check your speed - committing the crime of "wanting to get into the right lane when someone else was accelerating to stop you". But if you stay behind the timid person and wait your turn, then someone on the freeway will come up the LEFT lane and try to stop you merging too, then the person behind you starts tailgating and when you get onto the freeway, THEY swing out into the right lane to get past you because you're "timid".
If we had more 6+ lane freeways and the Canadian attitude of always moving right as we pass a merge, there would be a lot less aggro.
Thank you! I've been (jokingly) saying all this time: I would be shunned from Canadian society if I didn't automatically move to enable another car's safe merge. I can't even imagine driving this way - it's not safe for either car!
😂
Australian highways are possibly the worst in the world. I remember once going the speed limit in the left lane and undertaking every single car on the freeway.
It’s been 6 years and it still aggravates me because back home it’s such a social faux pas, you don’t even think about blocking the outside lane it’s just not done
That car fire could’ve escalated into an actual bushfire situation. Scary!
What was interesting was the oil/fuel that was in the culvert at the side. Even when the dashcam driver backed up the fire was following him in the culvert. The other thing was he remained in his car as others went to the burning vehicle to get the driver out. Obviously it was more important to get a good dashcam shot than try to save a human being in trouble.
@saintsone7877 I am certain the cam driver was actually the first one to the cab of the truck, and then once the driver was safe, they moved their car
@@saintsone7877should’ve gone to spec savers…

1:25 you'd almost have to do a citizens arrest on the driver of that red car. Actually stop them from driving until Police arrive. They're either drunk or aren't capable of operating a car.
handy when a dashcams video shows you the progress of roadworks near you that you've not seen for a couple of months
9:40 haha, love this guy. yells "FU**ING IDIOT!!!" when he himself ran the red light as well :p
Well he didn't understeer into the gutter, mount the verge, then nearly oversteer into another vehicle, so there's that...
10:47 I love how old mate's hubcap rolled through the roundabout, and landed itself perfectly behind the keep left sign on the other island.
The combination of driving around town & these videos make me think twice about replacing my 2003 crappy Astra with a new car & fearful for my VN is back on the road. It is so nice driving a car you just don't care about.
VN was the worst commondore ever built, I wouldnt be too worried

@@CORNERSUNDERATTACK~~ actually, this is what the rules say “……. to safely stop or safely go through depending on your speed and distance from the light.” The three cars should have stopped as they could have done so safely ~~ it was u safe to go through the light as they all did !
@@CORNERSUNDERATTACK Amber means slow down and prepare to stop. You can and will get fined for running an Amber. It is still treated as a red light.
The ute went through a yellow light - yes, if it was safe to stop, he/she should have. But that driver clearly had no intention of stopping.
The dash cam vehicle actually crossed the line on a red light. (He also had no intention of stopping)

OKIE DOKIE DEN!!! anyone else notice the dude yell FUCKEN IDIOT!! at the falcon driver for curbing himself yet they both ran the red lmao
Nope.
No one.
Not one person noticed this.
Just you
All three had plenty of time to slow and stop, but chose to speed through, if police had been there, all of them would get fined.
16:27 This is a case of bad situational awareness and assuming what a driver is going to do.
Instead, allow them to make their move before choosing your path/direction of travel.
No, this is a case of a driver almost killing someone through negligence. The pedestrian of course could have used more self awareness but what excuses would you use if it was a blind person or a runaway child or an animal? Time to stop shifting blame onto pedestrians for existing and start holding dangerous drivers to account. Driving comes with a responsibility to protect the safety and lives of others and if you can't do that you should never be allowed to drive.
@@mrawesome9219 It's a very very fast darwin award for people who walk behind reversing cars.
People with disabilities, of course have somewhat of an excuse, but dude looked like he was able, and still chose to walk behind a reversing car.
I had this almost happen a week ago, pulled into officeworks, parking lot was full, i checked all around, looked behind twice, and reversed to let someone out.
in pops mr dickhead who sees me reverse 2 metres, and STILL decides to walk behind me.
Some people are just fucking stupid.
LOL NO? The driver would have saw a pedestrian crossing the car park yet the driver decides to do a high speed reverse after they just just saw a pedestrian about to cross right infront of them???
@@Adrian-lc6jq Probably safe to think that the car driver, would assume someone who drives, wouldn't be stupid enough to walk behind a reversing vehicle.
People are stupid, as this video shows, and too many people are stupid enough to walk behind a reversing car nowdays.
Justify it however you want, I know that I'll never walk behind a reversing vehicle, because... I don't want to get hit?
Yea shit happens, but I'm kinda someone who doesn't wanna get run over!
@@johnnichol9412 it's not a "shared zone". It's a car park, in which the rules of the road apply. Do you wander across roads & expect cars to stop for you? If so, good luck with that.

6:54 wtf the cammer isnt following the car that hit them and just turned right as planned ?!
That's what I thought. Very strange.
6:04 ~~ For me, the thing that really grinds my gears is that selfish, arrogant, big noter morons, don’t just break one law ~ They break many laws at a time. Like this halfwit, driving on the wrong side of the road, overtaking all those on the right side, careless driving etc etc. So many people are put at risk by these ‘laws don’t apply to me’ arseholes who literally don’t give a rats about anyone but themselves, where they want to go, how quick they want to get there !
It makes me angrier and angrier every time I watch these videos, I suppose the worse their behaviour, the anger I get. Truly wish there was something we could all do to alleviate these problem AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THESE PEOPLE !!!
Better public transport, zoning, and neighbourhoods that can be navigated easily without using a car would alleviate car accidents. Works great in other parts of the world but Australia is too obsessed with using cars for everything. I say this as car enthusiast as well.
We definitely share the road with some raw talent 😂

I realize a small handheld wouldn't have done much on that last one but an extinguisher is always wise to carry and can put out a fire at the start before it goes crazy. Hope all are ok 👍
And, even if it can't stop the fire, it can suppress it enough for people to escape or for others with bigger extinguishers to arrive to help or for the Firies to show up. Fire extinguishers are should minimum equipment for all vehicles.
0:52 I thought the goober was going to stop at the second set of lights.

Not sure what's worse: the deliberately dangerous, or the cluelessly dangerous.
17:39 Ranger Danger!
5:22 Probably worth watching this clip to think how you might have responded in this situation.
I don't know if the daschcam driver had a vehicle behind them or if they had better visibility than I can see (I can't see much of this on my phone), but I can see something there that _might_ have been a human nearly getting run over.
Sometimes you've got to respond fast and I think the car in the left lane that stopped did well.
I thought you were talking about the truck in the left lane with high beams spotting a pedestrian on the road and the dc overtaking at the time meant the truck couldn't get as much out the way as it would have liked. But the clip you link appears to be an accidental pit manoeuvre and it took out the headlight of one of the spinning cars (the other looks like it spun to the left off the road). Certainly on my phone screen that was how it appeared, but yes, the DC (and car to the left of them) were lucky not to become part of that accident!
@@TonyHamlyn I know you're on a phone so you may of missed it. But the Electronic Sign was displaying "Breakdown in left shoulder" "use caution" before the collusion of the broken down vehicle and the car that colluded with the broken down car and spun. I am assuming someone wasn't paying attention too the big sign warning them of a hazard that could have prevented the accident.
@@ShaxxARoo Those signs are bullshit half the time, gives ya trust issues.. Same with the digital speed signs. Going from 100 to 80 to 100 again.. for what? Causes traffic.
@FTKSoky tl;dr ignore warning signs after 500m or so unless its a VMS because they just use the closest one. Thanks for coming to my ted talk
i can shed some light on them at least. There are behavior monitoring cameras all over most major motorways in australia, and people observing from TMR can remotely set a wide variety of messages on the VMS boards around. Protocol is that warning board is the absolute last thing to go, so if you see that warning and see no event, theres a good chance the tow truck is well ahead of you and you just missed the action.
For the variable speeds, every square cut into the road you drive over is an induction coil. Two close together are used to track traffic speeds and types, basically like a permanent version of pneumatic hoses used for survey computers. There are computers analysing this information constantly, and when certain conditions are met they automatically reduce the speed, or TMR can manually instate reduction zones. They typically start far enough back that noone has a reduction greater than 20 in one go, and are timed so everyone passing the next reduction (100 permanent, reduced to 80, then 60 for example) has seen the previous one too, then reverted in reverse order. Some incidents like phantom crashes (some event where someone causes a ripple effect bringing congested traffic to a near stop despite no actual collision) can meet these conditions.
Basically, when it comes to temporary road signage, always treat it like its in effect for at least 500m, by which point you would have seen something else related to it.
To put in perspective why this has to be this way, think of things like highway lane closures. We have to put signs down both shoulders typically, and cannot cross the road. This means we run a convoy loop down one side, then leave the roadway entirely, run a lap, and then do the other side followed by a closure. What this looks like to motorists on that side is a lot of warning signs, and not a single thing actually happening until the loop back is done, which might be 10-20 minutes depending on where it is. When packing up, the closure has to go, we pack up the obstruction, we loop around to the start, pack up one side, loop around and pack up the other. This, again, looks like a lot of warning for nothing. Just remember 500m and 1km and you're golden to ignore it for the most part. 500m for temporary traffic warning signs, 1km for speed advisory signs.
I say thise distances because its required that if a road is not a default speed (50 built up, 100 non), there must be a speed sign passed within 1km of traversal from any point on the road, and the AGTTM and MUTCD specify distances always shorter than 500m for TC signage placement (500m is the farthest, typically its 15-200m depending on speed and signs used)
Thank you.
That's a lot to unpack...
Flow chart????😁😁

06:30 Nice ding on the right guard, must do this often.
if you watch Scotty's & DCOA TH-cam channels, 50% of current drivers should be, "off the fucking road..".
e.g. saw an old fart driving a beat-up Yaris side-swipe one of those steel bollards that protect pedestrians, shopfronts, etc. Took out all four panels of the car (front/rear + both doors) & front bumper was torn from chassis. Bollard was nearly ripped out of the ground. When the driver shuffled around to survey the damage, he said, " where did that come from? ".

12:46 good reactions from DC driver. Barely ever see people attempting to avoid wildlife these days, even when the road is completely clear of other traffic.
The other day me and my mate where driving around in my brothers car and we were talking about how someone accidentally wrote my car off because they hit a kangaroo (the fire wall got damaged) and I kid you not I came around the next corner and 3 kangaroos jumped out in front of us luckily I managed to miss all 3.

6:29 is way too common. Their mind is on the next road before they've even worked out whats happening at the intersection. It's complete ignorant driving with no accountability whatsoever. They're way over the dividing line, not accounting for a vehicle turning that might need that space. No indicator on and no regard for anyone but their own need to fly around that corner and only worry about another driver if they happen to pull out in front of it, then everyone comes to a stop.
