I disagree about Nezuko and the sun being lazy writing. This has been hinted at subtly, but it was. There was a big emphasis on Muzan searching for or researching something. Even showing how he goes through so much trouble to fit into modern society just so he can get his hands on the research he needs. Then showing him actively experimenting while dressing down his underlings. It emphasizes that his research is so important, he won't even stop when having a meeting that hasn't happened in 113 years. The fake out death was not just randomly thrown in, but actively used to drive the plot of the show for the audience. She overcame the weakness of being a demon (sunlight) through years of not giving in to the weakness of being a demon (eating people). Otherwise, I think you were spot on. Lol. Thanks for the video.
Good point, my main complaints though were really about Nezuko suddenly gaining immunity after such a tense moment, with barely any foreshadowing of her development of the ability. The fake-out death seemed like a deus ex machina. If this was where the plot of Demon Slayer was heading, I guess Nezuko getting the immunity when she most needed it would be inevitable, but I just wish that the idea of demons gaining immunity to the sun would've at least been mentioned and implied more, aside the ambiguous research Muzan was doing. However, I like the idea of her gaining immunity as a result of her resisting demon hunger and her drive to help humans. I would be disappointed if they discontinue the whole blue spider lily research that Muzan was doing though, since now I'm invested about what makes the blue spider lily so special. Thanks for the comment!
yeah I agree with that, watching tengen and the boys fight gyutaro just felt utterly hopeless . You could just tell that gyutaro was built different (man seemed unkillable), that same feeling of hopelessness just wasn't really there for the gyokko and hantengu fights. Also they kinda rushed through introducing mitsuri and muichiro this season so I feel like overall the viewer was much less invested in them (and really had no way of gauging how strong they are). Though thinking about it now, I would say that it makes sense that tanjiro could hold his ground against hantengu because of the experienced he gained from the gyutaro fight...
I think this season's bad. The plot was a huge mess, the characters were lame, and the ending is the definition of plot armor. Mugen Train & s2 were peak and this fails to live up to the hype of those arcs.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions and call this season bad, but you're 100% right about Mugen Train + Entertainment District being better than this one. It only felt like the Hashira weren't expanded upon enough. The plot really wasn't an issue to me, just straight forward: "Demons found the hidden swordsmith village and attack it", more or less sums up this arc (not an issue for me). Wish the ending was foreshadowed a bit more though.

The two upper ranks in this season are weaker than upper six because daki was holding gutaro back so he would be upper 4
