Your hair is gorgeous! Have you ever tried Spiral Hair Pins? I have thick hair and find that the spiral hair pins work wonders and you don’t have to use a lot of them like normal hair pins.
I’ve never tried these ones, I’ve seen the in stores though! I’ll have to pick some up next time and give them a go. Using so many pins doesn’t help headaches

It depends, I try not to pull the curls to much so when I take it out I give it a shake and it’s ready to go again. I can normally get 2 flights then I need to wash it to get the curl back
