- Just a short video concerning my thoughts on this one part from the release date trailer that's been on my mind since I watched it.
Let me know what you guys think about this part, because the Dread Wolf is near and dear to my heart, and I hope that whatever Bioware does with him, it'll make me nod in satisfaction (or weep in satisfaction).
Wolf wolf wolf :)
The trailer link: • Dragon Age: The Veilgu...
This scene happens around the 2:29 mark of the trailer.
I'd lose my mind if it's Morrigan shapeshifting as a diversion for the Inquisitor, Rook and Solas.
I assume that there is a larger plan, that Solas believes can win.
It’s possible Solas is distracting Elgar’nan to buy Rook time?
Perhaps it is one of Mythals dragons. Wasnt there a Dragon Age Vinyl with it on the cover, and the dragon was surrounded by trees and the entire imagine was reminiscient of Mythals vallaslin? I really like your theory and truly hope that apart from griffons and the dread wolf, we will get an ancient dragon as well!
I want solas to be rooks buddy so bad 😂 but i know it will be hard earned
Its going to be hard not to play an Elf Mage that just says “sure boss” to him the whole game 😂
I think Solas is desperate to stop Elgar’nan from returning to the Black City, in another trailer we can see a Dragon fighting the heroes in what appears to be the Black City with the towers of the Evanuris looming in the background. I suspect Elgar’nan and Ghilannan’s goal is to reenter the Fade and open the gates of the Black City from the outside to release the true source of the Blight : a corrupted Titan heart sealed inside the Black City
I wouldn't discard Bioware misleading us with their trailers, maybe this scene is someone's literal nightmare or IHW 2 as you said, but I do see the wolf biting the dragon, much as I'd love to get Elgar'nan in the team (that'd be a nice plot twist, lol)
Awesome video!!! Very well done ❤
I love this theory so much! I hope my Wolf won't get mad to actually bite blighted dragon...
The dragon could be one of the daughters of Mythal or it could be Morrigans son with the old god soul.
Great video !
thank you :)
It could be Morrigan/Mythal in dragon form.
Yeah it could be Rook being able to use some Solas abilities like turning into wolf just like Naruto who has kurama(nine tails fox) inside him😊
These are good ideas.
I absolutely agree with you on this. Just a theory but you had me thinking about this. The Inqi drank from the well of sorrows, right? What if she is that dragon and saves Solas from the blighted scene. Would that just not be poetic?? In other words inqi turns into a dragon because of Mythal's power or Morrigan becomes the dragon depending on decisions made in Inquisition? Just a thought. As a Solavellan who drank from the well, I would die if I get a scene where my gal turns into a dragon and saves her dreadwolf. :)
👀👀👀
What if the dragon is Morrigan/mythal
Could be a corrupted Mythal whos angry at Solas for the events of DAI.
It blight yes new blight coming
No it’s probably even worse, Elgar’nan and Ghil are planning to unseal the source of the Blight itself which is a tainted heart of a Titan
I like the theory.
I personally think all the evanuris used great dragons as their power source for godhood.
These are the arch demons.
I think solas return to godhood was getting a new great dragon.
I think these great dragons are actually titan hearts. The are a type of spirit the dragon form is a shape the evanuris makes them take.
So solas makes his great dragon take the shape of a great wolf.
Though it is actually a great spirit that is the heart of a titan.
And what do you think about the amount of spoilers they give us in all the materials? The one from High-level combat was too much for me. I would rather find out something like that in the game…
Yeah, I think there's definitely been some things revealed that I'd liked to have experienced for myself in game, but personally I go into new videos/articles/etc about Veilguard with the knowledge I'm likely going to be spoiled on something. But yeah, the implications of the high-level combat spoiler... Honestly, they could have left that one sentence out :/ I didn't need to know that. Hopefully Bioware chills.
To leave you on a lighter note: if that's what they're showing us, saying 'no major spoilers', what *are* the major spoilers they cut out? :)
@@ladysulevin Exactly! I don't know what "major spoilers" are for them now. But with one sentence they put an end to one of the biggest mysteries of Thedas that has been going on for years... and not in the game, nor in the trailer ;) I hope that's the end of it and the rest of the discovery of "were we right?" awaits us in the game :)
I like Solas but don’t trust him. If the evanuris were bad then what were the forgotten ones and why did solas also lock them away? I keep thinking of Cole’s banter with solas where he mentions solas could free “them”. I hope they make an appearance.
Does Cole have a banter like this? The only one that springs to my mind is the one where he comforts Solas, saying that he didn't do it to be right, but to save them - and he talks here about the elvhen people as a whole I assume, saying how they aren't gone as long as he remembers them, and that he could "let them go" - what I interpreted as he could let the past, his regret over destroying his people go.
Been done before, you say? You know what else was done before? A tainted dragon attacking a Warden fortress. Here Lies the Abyss was done in Inquisition, yet here's BioWare doing the same plot again at Weisshaupt in Veilguard. As for Solas attacking the dragon, he could theoretically do so if it's a last ditch effort, or if he knows it's his only chance.
Yeah I heard there’s an Archdemon. You know what else has been done before? A blight. Therefore this game is exactly like Origins, according to your logic. This is nothing like Here Lies The Abyss.
@@ArabellaLavellan Yeah, now you're catching on. BioWare is just recycling old plots. At least the Dragon Age animes had something fresh.
@@BelieveIt1051 You really dodged critical thinking skills there. Good luck going forward in life like that!
@@ArabellaLavellan Hey. Hey... The Minrathous scene with Rook and Varric? Same as the prologue with Cassandra from Inquisition. Rehashed plots and events. Except the Inquisition prologue was done better.
