Test your English Grammar | Conjunctions Quiz by Quality Education

In this video, you will practice conjunctions. Conjunctions are used to express relationships between things in a sentence, link different clauses together, and to combine sentences. Without conjunctions, we would be forced to use brief, simple sentences that do not express the full range of meaning we wish to communicate. Only using simple sentences would sound unnaturally abrupt and disjointed. By using different kinds of conjunctions, however, we are able to make more complex, sophisticated sentences that show a connection between actions and ideas.

10: Rephrase to read "I sat down"
17: Rephrase to read "Neither is he interested nor does he want to join your group."
21: "on the project"
29: Answer A also, if the rain and their reaching home occurred at the same time.
36: "we have moved"

46: D also ( meaning "since")
50: C also

Is question number 17 correct? I think the first part of the sentence should not be "Neither does he interested"... It's not gramatically correct. Please reply if needs to be changed.

Hi David! The questions are taken from the variety of question papers (exam papers) conducted locally in different institutions. The question can be asked in two ways, using Conjunction (Neither...nor);
Neither is he interested nor does he want to join our group?
Neither does he interested nor does he want to join our group.
I have checked the above sentences; both are Grammarly correct. Conjunctions are correctly used. However, there is a little typing error.
I appreciate your time which will help improve the content.
