  • From the expansion of the Umayyad Empire in the seventh century until the fall of the Ottomans in the early 20th century, Muslim artists produced a stream of masterpieces that circulated across the globe - adorning places of worship, royal courts and the grand residences of the nobility. Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Mesiri said about art:
    " I later learned that many foreigners who converted to Islam entered it through Islamic arts. The artist Béjart, a well-known French ballet dancer, converted to Islam by studying carpets and the drawings installed in them. Roger Garaudy (the French Islamic philosopher) also had a special interest in Islamic architecture, and perhaps this alerted preachers. • @13minutestomidnight
      @13minutestomidnight 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Sure, there was tons of stealing (on all sides), but there was a high level of communication between political leaders in Europe, Asia and the Middle East since the Romans, and gifts were common. Islamic Empires have been like the Roman Empire, Chinese Empire and Empires throughout Europe: they conquered through bloodshed and looted their enemies, absorbing people, lands and culture (including artwork and priceless artefacts).
      Would you like to consider all the cities conquered and "stolen" by Islamic and European Empires? The Dome of the Rock is on 4 different religious holy sites claimed by different peoples before Islam got there. If you want to have a petty squabble over who "owns" what, and where it comes from, you'll find a hard time tracking down all the twists and turns of history.
      And remember, Islamic regions included what is now Spain and Asia, so it is a vast heritage, and you might find that valued Islamic artwork really "belongs" to a country that you now dislike.

    Who lacks something cannot give it. Therefore, it is certain that the great scholars, both Muslims and non-Muslims, know from the depths of their hearts that the Islamic civilization (beginning with the father of the prophets and humanity and the first of the Muslims, the Prophet Adam) is the civilization that established the sciences of all kinds (until these sciences flourished during the reign of the master of the first and last of creation and the seal of the prophets and messengers, Muhammad). The reason is very clear, which is that ALLAH Almighty is the Creator and Owner of everything, so the knowledge of His creation is not hidden from Him. And as an explanation of everything that ALLAH wanted man to know, after He sent down Adam and Eve from Paradise to Earth, He spoke to some of His prophets, inspired some of them, and inspired those He chose among His righteous servants. Also, the leading scholars rightly know that the Arabic language is the mother of all languages, the most eloquent and the most complete, and that it is not possible to replace or put any language in its place in a way that is not fake. They know that non-Muslim civilizations are guided by passion and their slogan is ignorance, and every time Islamic rule is overthrown, they attack and plunder the knowledge of Islam and Muslims, then attribute the merit of this knowledge to themselves. through empty talk, falsification of history, and other means. And [The condition of human beings since the fall of the Islamic empire] enough proof of my comment.

    your first map seems to suggest that Islam (or the Umayyad Empire?) spread from Spain? neither of course is true, so what have you been thinking? what are you doing? who makes these films? as usual, the commentary is idées reçues only, hardly any information on the objects and those who made them. I am shocked. also the orientalist music is quite annoying.
